Thought it was time for a little re-introduction… so hi, I’m Izzy 😀

I started Socially Risen in January of 2023 as a small town, 21 year old college dropout. I spent years after my high-school graduation having no idea what I was going to do with my life until I realized I loved the process of posting on Instagram.

I’ve loved taking pictures and videos as long as I can remember, but it took me hitting my rock bottom (at the time) to stumble upon a boutique job that inspired me to turn my passions into a career.

So, that’s exactly what I did.

I had no clue how to run a business, not a ton of real life experience, and just a general understanding of what social media management was.

I worked my ass off, learned as much as I could through trial and error, and was able to quit my job at the boutique after just six months of running Socially Risen.

Now, I’m here. About 3.5 years in, with an incredible team of three working with me. Woah. 🤯

I’m so beyond grateful for every client and person who has helped me get to this point, you have no idea!

pov: you’re almost at the two year mark working with a client 😆

alwaysss in a silly goofy mood with my clients because IG is supposed to be fun! stressed is the last thing I want my clients to feel during their content shoot.

this client and I have been prioritizing creating fun content that is able to make their audience get a good laugh.

Katie said she’s been approached several times and has gotten compliments about how funny our IG account is. YAY! taken in Dayton, Ohio by @sociallyrisen

content shoots are supposed to be fun 😀 like we are filming for instagram.. it shouldn’t be that stressful

we come with the plan, the equipment, the energy, and are always ready to give direction when needed- that way you can enjoy the shoot as much as possible (even if being on camera feels uncomfortable for you)

while you’re busy creating another excuse as to why you’re not going to post again today, keep in mind that your competitors ARE posting…

and not only are they posting, they’re bringing in new leads that could have just as easily been yours.

showing up with something is better than not showing up at all.

whoever said your IG content needed to be super high-quality to get leads lied straight to your pretty little face.

can it help? sure, for some.

is it necessary for everyone? absolutely not.

now, there are some instances where I’ve seen accounts that use only super high-quality, professionally shot, videography-style videos, and it works. but it’s rare, because those videos often lack the authentic feeling an iPhone can bring to the table.

with that being said, if you’re currently spending thousands on these videos and still aren’t noticing a huge difference in your leads, there’s a reason for that. 🤠 by @sociallyrisen
