𝗜𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄… 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 😂

Becauseeee most small business owners I speak to aren’t short of things worth posting.

They’re just busy actually running the business 😭

Quoting.
Replying to customers.
Doing the job.
Sorting all the other 847 things that need doing 😂

And… that’s usually where the best content already is.

The job you’re working on.
The bit customers never see.
The question you answer alllll the time.
The random little BTS moments you’d probably never think were worth posting.

That’s the stuff I love finding 👀✨

I take what you’re already doing and turn it into content that actually feels like 𝗬𝗢𝗨 and your business.

No awkward dancing 😂
No trying to become an influencer.
No posting something just because you feel like you should.

Just showing people more of the brilliant stuff that’s already happening behind the scenes 🤍

So if you’re new here… hiiii 👋🏼 I’m Sammy Jo.

I help busy local businesses show up online without social media becoming another full time job.

You’re definitely in the right place if posting is always the thing you mean to get round to 😂 by @socials.with.sammyjo

𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁… 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 😂

With Gittins Plastering, I didn’t suddenly start creating loads more social media content.

I just stopped posting for the sake of posting and started giving each post an actual job to do.

And from the pre management side of things to September:

1.6K → 7.7K views
77.7% of views from non followers
and people sending enquiries 🫶🏼

That’s the bit I love about small business social media.

Not just making a page look busy… but using content to improve organic reach, help more local people discover the business, show what they actually do and give potential customers a reason to get in touch.

Turns out “post more” isn’t always the answer 😂 sometimes it’s just “post with more purpose” ✨ by @socials.with.sammyjo

You know those photos you've been meaning to post for WEEKS? 😂

Yep, those ones hahaha.

You're busy running your business, i get it!!

But people need to see the work you're doing too 👀

Andddd that's where i can help take one thing off your never ending to do list 🩷 x by @socials.with.sammyjo

Sometimes social media doing its job doesn’t look like going viral 🤭

3 enquiries in the first month, one already turned into work + he’s happy for me to keep doing the content because it takes the pressure off him 😭👏🏼

That’s the kind of result I care about most and exactly what I want Socials with SammyJo to do 🥰

Help people show up, get seen + make their life a little easier 🩷 by @socials.with.sammyjo

This is your little reminder that small local businesses can still get BIG eyes on their content 👀

7.1K views in 7 days for one of my clients and… I’m so happy with that 🥹

Just figuring out what people actually want to stop for + doing more of it 😂👏🏼 by @socials.with.sammyjo

A little change of scenery this morning and an overpriced (absolutley worth it) pumpkin spice latte 😂☕️

One of my favourite things about working for myself is being able to have little mornings like this 🥹🩷

Anywayyy, back to work hehe x by @socials.with.sammyjo

Think you've got nothing to post about your business? 👀😂

You'd be surprised how much content you're sitting on!

Popped in to see Dave while he was busy ripping out another bathroom and grabbed a few little behind the scenes bits 📸

To him, it's just another day at work.

To me, it's CONTENT 😂

And that's what I love about what I do!

Sometimes the things you wouldn't even think to photograph are the things worth sharing.

The messy bits, the work in progress, the everyday stuff!

Soooo, little reminder… next time you're busy working away, get your phone out and capture it!

It doesn't have to be perfect to be worth posting 🩷✨ by @socials.with.sammyjo

The irony of running a social media business and forgetting to post on your own socials 😂🙈

Between school runs, mum life, client content, planning posts and all the bts bits… my own page is somehow always the thing that gets pushed to tomorrow 😭

It’s made me realise how easy it is when you’re running a business and trying to keep everything else ticking along too.

You’re busy doing the actual work, sorting everyone else out… and suddenly another week has disappeared 😂

Soooo I’m making a proper effort to show up here a little more too 💗

Fellow mums/small business owners… please tell me I’m not the only one 😂 by @socials.with.sammyjo

Nobody prepares you for the absolute CHAOS going on inside your head during your first half marathon 😂😭💗

21.1km of giving myself pep talks, basically losing a toenail and somehow having the BEST time 😂

The biggest thing I’ve taken from it is how much your head can tell you “I can’t do this” when your body is actually still perfectly capable of carrying on.

Sometimes you really don’t know what you can do until you just keep bloody going 🥹💗

I work in social media and I still…

1. Overthink what to post on my own page 😂
2. Save about 500 content ideas and then forget they exist.
3. Post something I LOVE that gets barely any views… and something I made in 10 minutes suddenly does really well 🤣
4. Change my mind about my content strategy approximately 47 times.
5. Look at other creators and think, “why didn’t I think of that?!”
6. Have days where the ideas are constant… and days where my brain gives me absolutely nothing 🤭
7. And I’m still learning all the time.

I think that’s probably the biggest thing I’ve realised since starting this business.

Working in social media doesn’t mean you magically have social media figured out.

It means testing things.
Watching what works.
Learning.
Changing things.
And doing it again 🩷

Very much still figuring it out over here 😂

The amount of times I hear “I didn’t get any content” 😂

Meanwhile you’ve fitted a bathroom, ripped something out, solved three problems and had approximately 700 things happen on site.

There’s content there. Promise.

Sometimes I just need you to film it 😂

Can I tell you what I think most small businesses are getting wrong? 👀

They're trying to become content creators...

When really, they just need someone to capture what they're already brilliant at.

Your customers don't expect perfectly edited videos every day. They just want to see the people behind the business.

That's exactly why I created Content Days.

I'll spend half a day or a full day with you, capturing authentic photos and videos while you get on with your day 😍

❌ No awkward posing.
❌ No wondering what to film.
❌ No spending your evenings trying to edit a video.

✅Just a bank of content you can post for weeks.

Whether you're a hairdresser, beautician, landscaper, bathroom fitter or another local business, I can help you show up online without it taking over your life 🙋🏼‍♀️

📍Shropshire & surrounding areas.

I'm opening a limited number of introductory Content Day bookings while I build my portfolio.

DM me the word "CONTENT" and I'll send you all the details. 🤍 by @socials.with.sammyjo
