Warmly welcoming @emmaolphert for her Social Sounds debut this Saturday Oct 17th at @ulstersportsclub 💖

Emma O is a Belfast based DJ whose sound is rooted in minimal, bleep and stripped-back techno. Her selections draw on hypnotic rhythms, intricate percussion and obscure electronic textures, balancing driving grooves with more subtle, leftfield elements.

Influenced by artists including DVS1, Oscar Mulero and Talismann, her sound is shaped by an interest in unconventional production and the less explored edges of techno.

Having just started her DJ journey last year, she has played for Belfast nights including Feline, Rewind, Exile and Powerhouse, and makes her Social Sounds debut this weekend alongside @chrisflannigan_ and @sophiiie_____. With a deep knowledge of music and a strong love for Belfast’s scene, this is a set not to be missed 🧚

A selection of tracks by @chrisflannigan_ ahead of our upcoming party next Saturday October 17th at @ulstersportsclub!

Built around sample-driven textures and punchy drums, Chris’ style draws equally from house and techno traditions while maintaining a distinct identity of its own. Originally emerging from the Irish underground community, Chris debuted his first 12” EP on Manchester-based Hardline Sounds imprint Drum Workouts. His productions have received consistent backing from major artists and found their way into some of the world’s most iconic spaces.

A lot of his work has that rolling, hypnotic, percussive quality, the kind of stuff that works really well in a longer DJ set rather than necessarily being designed as a standalone listening’ track, with a clear nod to the 90’s and 00’s. Chris is an extremely talented DJ and producer, can’t wait to welcome him to close out Ulster Sports Club’s main room next Saturday October 17th alongside @emmaolphert and @sophiiie_____

Excited to drop the next Social Sounds party, welcoming Belfast’s very own Chris Flannigan for his debut to headline at Ulster Sports Club on October 17th.

@chrisflannigan_ needs no intro to a Belfast crowd. With a growing catalogue of original productions, releases across respected underground labels and support from BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM and artists across the globe, his sound has travelled far beyond Belfast - from London and Berlin to New York, Portugal and Croatia. A regular presence across the city’s underground circuit, he brings a sound that is built for movement on the floor.

Support comes from @emmaolphert who will also be making her first Social Sounds appearance bringing a fresh take to the night + @sophiiie_____.

Online tickets on sale now via RA.
Earlybirds £6. General release £10. More OTD.

Join us for a night of house, techno and all their adjacent forms. Can’t wait to see you there 🔮

SATURDAY at @ulstersportsclub 💫

Social Sounds presents Hannah B2B Sophie All Night Long.

We’ve both played together more times than we can count - all across Belfast, in London, Amsterdam and even in random bars in Ibiza. Over the years we’ve built up a real understanding of each other behind the decks, and Saturday feels like the perfect time show that.

This night is feeling super special to us, it gives us the space to dig deep, take our time and explore all the different corners of our collections. House, techno, breakbeat, grime, electro, UK percussion, dubstep, bass. No restrictions and no set formula, just music that we love and want to share.
We’d really love it if you could join us for a 5 hour journey through the sounds that have shaped us both as artists ❤️

£5 tickets have now sold out. Remaining online tickets are £10, they’ll be more on the door so cop one today!

See you on the floor x by @socialsounds.bfs

Social Sounds returns to Ulster Sports Club on Sat 1st Aug for its first All Night Long.

Hannah B2B Sophie. Open to close.

5 hours moving through the sounds that make Social Sounds what it is - chuggy rollers, deep dubby house, percussive slinky bass, groove-led techno and everything that fits nicely in between.

Smokey intimate room, stripped back lighting, building the energy as the night goes on. Excited to see how far we can take it.

Online tickets are staying nice + cheap at £5 until the week of the event. £5 for 5 hours of great music. £10 after that. More OTD.
