We participated in the @winstontheenglishsetter secret Santa this year. Raine & Archie got SPOILED from our new good friends. We couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of it this year & the dogs are so happy. All I’ve heard is a gingerbread & reindeer squeaking all morning & loving it. #winstonandivygiftexchange
I can’t thank @npmikolich enough for being so amazing to my 4 legged kiddos that bring so much joy. Thank you for the fun & hopefully everyone starts getting the presents that are taking their time. You can see these two got everything they wanted & more. So much gratitude. by @soclosets

From the outside no one would know. From the inside there is no space left to cram the pain, disappointment, hurt, feelings of unworthiness, the time you can’t get back, to start over, to have the will to go on, to live.

I had a panic attack in church on Sunday. My throat closed off, sweat started down the sides of my face, room started spinning. I put my head in my hands and tried to keep it together. I made it a little less than an hour. It’s a blur how I got out of there, how I made it home with tears running down my face, how I made it through the day- in bed for most to cover the pain. I dwell in mine as my wonderful hubby asks what he can do to help. It keeps me up throughout the night. Archie ( our dog) can feel it. He gets up 7 times to go out to just lay on the back porch almost like he needed to catch his breath also. It’s amazing what animals feel.

Kneeled down with my hubby on Monday to pray. I asked him to say it. I need him to hear us, to fix it all, to see us. Life is harder everyday. People say it’s going to be OK. Is it, because this is not OK. When you ask people how they are and they say OK do you ask more questions? I’ve learned to not ask anymore I say hello and move on as fast as I can. My bandwidth is full, triggers everywhere. To function takes all my energy. I wish I could laugh, to smile, to push it down further like I used to. Today is a big day for me. Do you think anyone will remember 3 years ago today? Does it really matter? There used to be no feeling of pain now there is so much. When you say if you need ANYTHING do you mean it? It’s “OK” they have their own lives. It’s OK. by @soclosets

I’m a Barbie girl! Soooooo it’s been a long time since I’ve posted so before I update you on the last two years of my life, I’ll start with a date night with my Ken. My love for Barbie came in late junior high .. see I didn’t get Barbie’s until then. My love for Barbie will never stop and for Ken ( aka Mike) by my side makes it the best. Who’s hubby would dress up like Ken? Not many.

YES! 2 pink posts! I loved the extra pictures that I didn’t use in the wonderful reel my hubby made so why not use them for “ Wednesdays we wear pink” and a little green and yellow. I’m loving color so much at the moment and feel that it brings some happiness into my life.

I took some time away and still I will take it when I need it to take care of myself. Life is overwhelming to say the least and I know with intensive therapy and so many other things that I have to take care of myself.

So enjoy a little more pink today because if I’ve learned anything it’s you can wear the same outfit, take different shots, poses, being called a “weirdo” by people driving by and still love the extra pictures on your camera and your 13 year old best friend at the end.

So today I wear pink on a Wednesday for the first time.

Be kind to people- you never know what’s behind the smile.

This is totally me right now… EXCEPT I’m not on a beautiful vacation BUT I’m about that red with my face peeling( it had not started in this picture but oh did it arrive ) 😞you know when you need just a little vitamin D and you fall asleep and get way too much. Yes, that’s why I haven’t posted pictures this week, but this is very close to how I’m feeling right now!! A little hot 🥵

What do you think my favorite color is this summer? I’m loving the lavender, green, yellow, deep purple and orange all the colors that you can throw on together. I’m also STILL loving the puffy sleeves and most likely always will. My hubby saw me struggling taking these pictures in 103 degree temperatures so came out and snapped some great ones.
If you see the glistening running down the side of my face it’s because it really is SO HOT !

Blue summer dresses that catch the wind paired with sage green slip on’s. A blue bag and the belt tied snug around my waist. Hair curled and draped across my shoulders and I smile and think. I don’t have to look perfect, or be perfect. I just have to feel perfect for one split moment as the camera flashes and the poses are fun.

We think so much about being perfect in each picture that it stops being fun. This is me. Not perfect, making mistakes, growing, learning and teaching.

Matz at the end of the pictures, waking up from his nap. He is 13 and his sugar face is getting old. He stays by my side and is the reason behind that tiny smile.
