🐾 A happy reunion thanks to a microchip and a little work! ❤️🐶

This friendly German Shepherd got himself a bit lost, but luckily, he had a microchip! Unfortunately, the microchip wasn’t registered with up-to-date information. Thankfully, our dedicated Animal Control Officer was able to do some investigating, track down his owner, and get this good boy safely back home where he belongs more quickly than if he had to come to the shelter! 🏡💕

✨ A friendly reminder to all pet guardians: Microchips are wonderful tools for reuniting lost pets with their families, but they only work if your contact information is registered and up to date! Please take a moment to check your pet’s microchip registration and make sure your current phone number and information are on file. taken in Sonoma County Animal Services by @socoanimalservices

🐾☕Panda’s Dog Day Out! 🐼💕

Panda had a lovely adventure out in the world, with a hike, a trip to the park, and even a café stop! Her field trip buddy described her as a quiet girl who likes to take a moment to observe and process new situations. While she’s taking it all in, Panda had the sweetest way of staying close and sitting right on her buddy’s foot for comfort. 🥹❤️

We love this gentle girl and are so happy she got to experience a little more of the world outside the shelter. Now we’re dreaming of the day Panda finds her person, someone who will give her the time, patience, and love to blossom into their beloved companion. Could that someone be you? 🏡🐶

Who remembers Turbo? We recently received this update from Turbo’s adopters:

Our sweet Turbo has been with us for almost a year and a half. We fostered him for 9 months before we realized we couldn’t give him up, and we officially adopted him 6 months ago. Turbo has really blossomed after decompressing from a year in the shelter. He is a big, sweet, goofy, exuberant boy who keeps us laughing at his antics everyday. Despite all of his toys, his favorite game is running around the yard with a cardboard box! He loves cuddling with us during morning coffee, sunbathing out in the yard, and playing with his brothers. Thank you to SCAS for all that you did for Turbo before he made his way to our family, we love him so much! taken in Sonoma County Animal Services by @socoanimalservices
