‏Abdullah Aliah
known as the Socotri Caveman Born and raised 62 years ago in a large cave on the western shore of Socotra, he still lives today sustained solely by nature’s gifts.

‏Along the rugged rocky shores, Abdullah leads a unique, primitive life: catching fish with his bare hands and walking barefoot across the jagged rocks as if they were part of him. He speaks simple, broken English, learned over the years from travelers and visitors, sharing with them tales of days measured not by hours, but by the ebb and flow of the tides.

‏He knows neither phones nor electricity his life moves to the rhythm of the winds and the waves where night is his curtain, day is his livelihood, caves are his home and the sea is his companion He stands as a living symbol of man in harmony with nature in its purest form.

‏Your journey to Socotra is not just an adventure it is a chance to meet the Caveman of Socotra

I think my eyes have seen more beauty this week than many people have seen in a few years 🌍🥹
An ocean of surreal color, endless beaches without a single person, sunsets that are impossible to break off, and landscapes more like another planet.
And all of this is Socotra. An island that many have not even heard of.
The most amazing thing is that no video does it justice what it looks like live.
I'm looking at this footage and I still can't believe I was there. ❤️
And now I wonder: which shot from this video impressed you the most? 😍

faccio fatica a spiegarlo.
hummus, misticanza e Nutella❤️
E tanto, troppo altro..
vivere, attraversare e conoscere. Non solo una volta
lo non vedo l'ora di tornarci.
Tu? ci verresti?🌿
