Here’s a look back at the milestones that shaped Delaware’s adult-use market 🌴

In April 2023, Delaware’s adult-use cannabis legislation became law without a signature from Governor John Carney. While the industry itself was still years away from launch, the legal framework that would shape today’s market was officially in place

Demand arrived quickly. Delaware’s first adult-use licensing lottery attracted more than a thousand applications, revealing just how much interest existed in the state’s emerging cannabis industry

For the first time, Delaware consumers could legally purchase cannabis for adult use. The market launched through converted medical operators, turning years of legislation, regulation, and preparation into reality

The market has arrived, but it’s still in its early chapters. Today, Delaware’s adult-use cannabis industry generates on avg $7-$8 million in monthly sales and is currently served by less than a dozen operators by @sodadeverdes
