on thursday night, inspired by my friends’ incredible vulnerability and burning passion, i unexpectedly performed a piece at an open mic at @twobestfriendscafe

i performed my piece ‘THANK GAUDE’ from my 2019 zine ‘FLAMING.’ a zine by a younger, more freshly traumatized, romantically emo sofa.

this zine embodies me: a yearning dyke with ginormous feelings and a healthy dose of jadedness.

this zine is for lesbians, lovers, and lonelies.

WELCOME TO SOFAWEEN 🩸💋

we’re starting off this study of decades in the 1960’s + 70’s with a classic: The Omen (1976) The Omen tells the story of the antichrist but if he were in smaller packaging.

now, yes, i have drawn this portrait before in a past SOFAWEEN, but i wanted to revisit it with a quintessentially SOFAHOOD color palette and a 2026 flair. because that’s what SOFAWEEN is all about: classic horror and doing whatever i want.

what are some of your favorite 1960’s/70’s horror films? you just might see another before the week is up … 🕷️🕸️

FOLLOWER BEWARE: YOU’RE IN FOR A SCARE.
