We had a full house at Beachcomber drive last month! Vibes were high. Here’s some memories from the evening captured by legend @eddiekonrad

our amazing artists:
@frank.swaby
@cinnamonsunmusic
@juman_music

host & MC: @aoiferubyyy

sound: @cinnamonsunmusic

Next gig is tomorrow!! Come check out this new space in town and enjoy the sweet sounds of 3 local artists. It’s BYOB & BYO cushion (or camping chair if you’re feeling fancy).

This week’s agenda is looking hot:

Jazz lunches, $8 cocktails, secret-location gigs, cabaret, vinyl nights, hinterland dance floors and a few properly weird theatre moments.

A few standouts: Cheeky Cabaret is back at Bruns Picture House, Sofar is popping up somewhere secret in Byron, Coorabell Hall is going full Madonna, and Ember is stretching Sunday lunch into an afternoon of jazz and wine.

Swipe through for what’s on from Byron to Mullum, Bangalow, Lennox and the hinterland, and save this for the weekend.

Sofar has welcomed heaps of incredible artists to the stage across Australia⚡️

So, what’s so special about the music at a Sofar?

1. A secret line-up revealed on the night. It could be any genre; jazz, roots, folk, soul, rock, you name it. A local artist or someone passing through.

2. An intimate setting so you can really listen, connect with each artist and understand the stories behind the lyrics.

3. Stripped back, raw performances. No filter.

We believe experiencing live music is better this way. Join us for a gig to see if you agree 💌 taken in Australia by @sofarsoundsbyronbay

Last Friday, July 31st, I finished this big month with a @sofarsoundsbyronbay show that I had the pleasure to also curate and put all of my heart in it, both on stage and behind it 🫠
Exactly a year after finishing my last day of chemo. Insane to think about that.
I’ll do a separate post about this month and my first little tour in Melbourne but for now, all I’ll say is that I’m greatful and thank you to everyone who came and everyone who was in involved in making this the best night. 🖤

We’re speechless.
Last Friday was just insane🫠

Thanks to our amazing artists:
@boninmarcelo @yazmindimusic @shahareberzon @shai_rose_ and their bands
and to our wonderful crew:
@aoiferubyyy our MC for the night, @shotbytaro_ on video, @flashythequeen behind the camera making her magic, @michaeliiiiiiiiiiii for the insane visual art, recordings and most importantly for the emotional support and of course thanks to our amazing volunteers @shi.pod and @anakingwell 🩷🩷

A special thank you to our host Rob at @evenflow_music that was also a legend on sound!

We can’t wait for our next event on August 22nd!!
This time we’ll meet in Byron ✨
