INKTOBER DAY 14: LADY ⚡️

Well I for sure wasn’t going to just draw a lady for this. I needed something quick and dirty to knock these last couple of drawings out so I went with the lady that’s deeply ingrained into my subconscious - GAGA

INKTOBER DAY 12: TOSS 🪙

I usually pride myself on how easily I can draw hands but daaaaaaaang not sure what happened here, but also I kinda like it?? Weird stylized hand kinda lends to the vibe, is this how I narrow down my personal style? Completely by accident? I’ll take it

INKTOBER DAY 11: RESCUE 🛟

As a universal studios enthusiast, this one was easy. Kind of insane how you can be stuck on one idea for days and then other ideas just explode out of you and end up being your favorites 🤷🏻‍♀️

INKTOBER DAY 10: MYSTICAL 🔮

Every year I’m super dramatic about whether or not to do Inktober, and this is the exact example that comes to mind each time I have such a hard time committing to trying again: get stuck on one day, and before you know you’re FIVE or SIX drawing behind, and you getting hope you don’t get stuck on any others or it’s game over.

NOT LETTING THAT HAPPEN, we are catching up!!! That might mean imperfect drawings or ideas I’m not fully bought on but this challenge is about FINISHING. INKING. MOVING ON. An exercise I recommend for any artist especially in this AI era - you gotta make yourself believe that creating with your own hands matters.

Anyway, join me today as I catch up to Oct 15th!! Wish me luck 😎

INKTOBER DAY 9: RAM

One of my favorite things about inktober is that if you’re trying to keep up with one drawing per day, you can’t spend too much time thinking about it. There’s also no consequences really, so it’s a place where as an artist you can really let loose and just let anything come out without judgements.

Without this prompt I might have never drawn a ram, and I might have not posted it because it’s not perfect. But because this is all a part of the challenge, I finished it and you know what I like it. It’s the real world filtered through my eyes, my mind, my hands to create something unique that cannot be authentically replicated. (Take that ai)

INKTOBER DAY 7: PANIC

Ode to the best era of panic at the disco, we miss you Ryan Ross

I have a question though, do you prefer quick cut videos or sped up timelapses of the whole process? Let me know!

Speeding up the entire thing is lowkey less work not to project my bias onto your opinion or anything 🤭
