the much-anticipated @dancefeverofficial_idodisco has come to an end🙌🏽

during the latest period of time , an immense amount of effort has been invested, transforming my life in the world of sports!
I am incredibly grateful to the Ukrainian team for the opportunity to represent our country and to our military forces for allowing us to live our lives!🇺🇦
I am truly honored to be a part of such wonderful team and thankful for all the support that you gave me during this championship!
a heartfelt thanks to all our INTERNATIONAL friends who support, believe and guide us!😭🫶🏽❤️

this year marked my first in the Adult 1A category, and am I surprised? YES.
i could have never dreamt of becoming the European champion in Disco Adults 1A(category which is one of the most difficult for me)
and this amazing result was followed by second place in Disco Freestyle Adults and third place in Disco Slow Adults 1A.
I am genuinely happy and motivated🏆

“Such a beautiful costume.”
“Where did you get it made?”
“Who is your designer?”

These are probably some of the questions I hear most often at competitions. And almost every time, they come with so many compliments about my costumes🤌🏽

And what means especially much to me is that with every time I step onto the stage, I can be a small part of helping more people see her creativity

In 2023, I became part of the @oonabdesign 🌟Back then, we were simply two strangers. Oona believed in me then, and she continues to believe in me to this day

She listens to my huge messages about my wishes, ideas, fears, doubts, and a thousand “what if we did it like this?” and always finds a way to understand me, even from thousands of kilometers away, and bring all of it to life on the stage

And I guess that’s exactly why, for me, these have long been more than just costumes.

When people see them on stage, they see a beautiful look, details, movement. But I know how much trust, creativity and work goes into each and every one of them.

@blomoona thank you for trusting me, for your creativity, for your patience with my endless messages, and for creating an image for me every time in which I can truly feel like myself🥺

Сьогодні рівно рік. Рік від дня, який змінив мою танцювальну кар’єру. Рік тому мені зробили операцію на суглобовій губі плеча. Я тоді не знала, чи повернуся і коли зможу знову вийти на майданчик. І, мабуть, найбільше я боялася навіть не болю. Я боялася кінця цього всього. Цей рік був сповнений болю. Фізичного і морального, страху, сумнівів, втоми, самотності. Було багато моментів, про які ніхто не знав. А потім я повернулася. Для когось це виглядало як диво. Для когось як везіння. Для когось як «ну всі спортсмени проходять через травми». І кожен сприйняв мою історію так, як йому було потрібно. Але травма це не просто «травма». І відновлення це не просто кількість місяців до першого тренування. Ми ніколи не знаємо, що насправді проживає людина, коли ми її не бачимо. Хочеться, щоб ми трохи менше порівнювали чужий біль. У спорті дуже легко сказати: «Інші теж через це проходили», «У когось було ще гірше», «Ти ж повернулася». Але чужа історія не робить твою менш болючою. Те, що для одного спортсмена було кількома місяцями відновлення, для іншого може бути місяцями страху втратити себе.За цей рік я багато чого зрозуміла. Напевно, найважливіше, що рано чи пізно все закінчується. І як спортсмен я дуже боюся цього моменту. Боюся не встигнути, не досягнути своїх цілей, одного дня втратити те, заради чого я живу стільки років. Бо для мене це не просто танці.Це моє життя, мої люди, моє дорослішання, моє тіло, мої перемоги і поразки. Це величезна частина мене. І після того, як одного разу ти розумієш, що можеш це втратити, ти вже ніколи не дивишся на це так само.Але сьогодні я хочу не тільки згадати біль цього року. Я хочу подякувати собі за те, що, незважаючи на нього, я продовжувала йти. За цей рік я повернулася на майданчик і виборола 4 місце на Чемпіонаті Європи, а на днях 4 місце на Чемпіонаті світу. Я пишаюся собою та роботою, яку проробила за цей рік, бо продовжувала йти, навіть коли було страшно. Окремо дякую лікарям, які допомогли мені повернутися до того, без чого я не уявляю свого життя, та всім, хто вірив у мене, навіть коли я сама не була впевнена, що зможу. Рік тому я не знала, чи повернуся. Сьогодні я просто вдячна, що я знову тут❤️ by @sofia.olefirenko

I always thought the most valuable thing dance gave me was the experience, the emotions, or the results

But I was wrong

The most valuable thing has always been the PEOPLE

Not everyone who has been part of my journey is in these photos, but each of them has left a mark on my life🫂

This year wasn’t easy. It taught me not to take anything for granted. After my injury, I truly understood the value of every practice, every competition, and every person who helped me keep moving forward.

So if I’m standing here today, it’s not only because of me
