Onaway is truly one of the most special places on earth. Through onaway, I have found some of the best people I will ever know, and have learned lessons that will apply throughout my whole life. I have learned that life is not about the hustle and bustle of modern day normalcy, but is rather about noticing the subtle glow atop the waters off the mosquito hollow dock-- or the ash that flies from the howling fire at amphitheater. Onaway has taught me to slow down and breathe. Onaway brings out the best in me.

I want to thank everyone at onaway who helped me see that my true self is someone who is loved, seen, and cherished. I want to thank the girls on earth team for igniting joy in every conversation. I want to thank the island for always bringing me hope that my people are out there.

My time as a camper had now came to an end, but my time as a camper will never be forgotten.

Thank you so much to @jolee.jpg for the stunning pictures. You are the sweetest soul and I look up to you so much. Your talent is immeasurable. taken in Camp Onaway by @sofia_seager11
