🕯️GAU BELTZA — IN MEMORIAM🕯️
31.10 · 20:00 · free entry @bartheoamsterdam
*The Night of the Dead*

We meet to honour the lives and legacies of women+ who are no longer with us. Women+ who fought for human rights, knowledge, freedom, resistance, or simply dared to exist differently.

Not only to mourn them, but to celebrate their lives with joy, music and art, and to keep their stories alive.

Because remembering is also an act of resistance.

A beautiful adventure in the Norwegian Forgotten Valley🤍

I honestly think there is something deeply liberating about dancing for countless hours with the people you love. When the attention is shifted to these three primal elements, people music and nature, everything seems to be in perfect sync. I am fascinated by the diversity of movements and expression I witnessed.
The music was the totem, our way to celebrate life. Every sound seemed to have its purpose.

I found so much beauty in starting the day together, slowly, maybe a bit crunchy, and ending it with the warmest hugs around the fire. Like a natural cycle, there was always a beginning and an end, and this made the experience feel so organic.

This made me gained so much courage to trust myself. I felt surrounded by so much love! And i feel lucky to have shared this experience with old friends, to have deepened connections, and to have met beautiful new souls who, in just a few days, came to feel like home.

Grateful for every encounter, every dance, and every shared silence.

Thailandia, Cambogia, and Vietnam, you welcomed me with simplicity.
You took my soul in your arms, you gave it a home.
You held it tightly with serenity, and let it go.

See you very soon by @sofiaadeangelis
