Rejection and exclusion are things I fear in the pit of my soul. That fear sometimes infects my artistic process, to the point of paralysis. It is reinforced by the anxiety that not being a man makes me a less legitimate filmmaker. I wonder where I get that from 🤔🙄😤Making this video to accompany Bess’ new track “Gatekeeper” was a chance for me to face these fears with compassion, to accept self-doubt and try to let it go. Can’t wait to share with you this video that I shot, directed and produced.
