Had the opportunity to participate in this years On My Own Time at Heritage Auctions! Seeing people interact with my work again felt so special 🥺💖!!

As a feminist art historian, I use my work to explore and reclaim the agency of female identity. I engage directly with the male gaze, subverting it through abstraction, stylized forms, and surreal pairings that disrupt traditional narratives of beauty and objectification. The figures I create are not passive, they are multifaceted, unpredictable, and at times contradictory. They inhabit the liminal space between vulnerability and strength, chaos and control, illusion and intimacy.

Had to create a mini master copy of “Get a Job” by Rita Ackermann.

I saw this painting in one of my top 2 favorite exhibits of all time Women Painting Women at The Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth in 2022. Since then, there isn’t a day I don’t think about it!! So minimal, yet so expressive. 🥺💔
