In case you needed this too…

comparison has a way of making you forget everything you already have. someone else’s life doesn’t take anything away from yours.

nobody can do you better than you.

sometimes the positive isn’t what happened, it’s who you became because of it.

feeling your emotions deeply shouldn’t be a weakness. I now learned that the same sensitivity that can make things hurt more is also what lets me love harder. It’s part of who I am.

never shrink the parts of you that you love just because they’re too much for someone else. the people meant for you won’t require a smaller version of you in order to stay.

sometimes we hold onto things because letting go feels scarier than staying. but I’ve learned that constantly having to convince yourself something is right for you can sometimes be the clearest sign that it isn’t.

more than keeping them close, learn how to value them as well.

changing your mind doesn’t make you inconsistent. you’re allowed to outgrow versions of yourself that once felt completely right.

one of my biggest realizations: the love I give has always come from me. that’s always been part of who I am no matter what.

its so easy for us to show up for the people we love, while sometimes forgetting to show up for ourselves in the same way. give yourself the same patience, effort, forgiveness, and love you give so freely to everyone else.

there is no timeline you’re supposed to be following. sometimes slowing down is exactly what you need in order to move forward.

i don’t want to spend my life wishing I could redo things I can’t change. even the decisions I wouldn’t make again taught me something I wouldn’t know without having lived them. by @sofianaciff
