that girl is looking forward to *so* many more 21st nights of september / last days of summer / birthdays and hopes all other kids will be able to do the same!!! @heal.palestine is helping kids celebrate their birthdays but *also* building makeshift schools, coordinating emergency surgeries and evacuations, and more! little girl in the first slide would be so over the moon if u donated (if u can! what u can! even a dollar! link in bio! and stories!) 🌻🫶🌟🍰 by @sofiaongele

last november when i gave this talk on my experience using creativity and disruption in movement building, i was so insanely scared it just wasn’t going to meet the moment,, genuinely what can be said that can truly meet this insane and unconscionable moment!!
but since, i’ve come to believe that the insane struggles we’ve been witnessing have really reaffirmed the fact that we all have a different role to play, as students, writers, artists, orators, leaders, caretakers—the list obviously goes on. if anything, i really hope this talk helps folks realize that you just need to take what you have and do something!! anything!! and take action with your community bc its so much more lit that way!!
its available to watch now on TED.com and, of course, thank you for coming to my @ted talk ❤️ taken in TED by @sofiaongele
