a little recap of the most random, intense few months since my birthday…✨

for the first time, getting older actually felt a bit scary. i wasn’t sure i had the things i wanted, and honestly didn’t know what else i could do to change that.

but then in mid january, i got the news that i’d be showcasing the play i’d been writing at @riversidestudioslondon - just the day before my birthday. since then it’s felt like something shifted, like the universe decided this was the year to open doors i’d been knocking on for so long.

we’re only three months in, and so much has changed. i’m exhausted, definitely overworked, but also more fulfilled than i was last year.

there’s still a lot i want to figure out and settle, and i hope there’s even more change coming. but i think i’m starting to understand that change is part of all of this chaos… and something to be grateful for.

honestly, 2025 ends on a strange note and i wasn’t quite sure how to sum this year up.

opening up properly here, i’ll say this has possibly been the hardest year of my life. these last couple of months have been an emotional rollercoaster: falls, a few quiet victories, and a lot of homesickness.

but the other day, scrolling through my favourites folder, i realised how often we judge an entire year by its ending, or by the feeling resting on our skin in the days before we celebrate the planet going round the sun again. and my year has been so much more than that final chapter.

my 2025 has been full of love. and i can’t end it without feeling deeply grateful for all the love i’ve received and all the love i’ve given. cause i’m so lucky! simply because i wake up every day knowing i’m loved and that i love.

maybe i don’t have a 5-year plan (and if you do, i’d gently suggest not holding onto it too tightly). i don’t know where i’ll be in 2030, but i do know that i’ll keep loving with my whole heart, and being loved in return.

thank you, thank you all, for a year that’s been truly beautiful. a year that doesn’t need a song, because the happiest moments are better with small conversations and real sound, the kind that turns them into memories, not just insta videos.
thank you for being here, for staying, and for all the years still waiting for us.
