I hit one of my personal goals this year. To extend a work trip with my family. This Spring Break B and the girls met me in NYC! I was so excited to share this experience with the girls, explore the city together, try new things, and most importantly have fun! We explored so many parts of the city, did rainy walks in SoHo, visited museums, took the subway, walked the Brooklyn Bridge, visited some of the stores Mommy worked in, visited the 9/11 Memorial, the cafe at Printemps, explored the High Line, and so much more - we made core memories together. 🇮🇳Part 1 of my India Trip: Delhi My experience was life changing to say the least. It’s hard for me to put into words what I felt because the emotional connections were so strong. My senses were overloaded with so much to see, hear, smell, touch, it was both incredibly beautiful and yet saddening to me, to see first hand how different life can be across the world when you live in a population of 1.4 Billion people. I found myself in a constant state of gratitude and so humbled by the entire trip. I learned so much about the people of India, about the religions across the country, the varied foods and spices, the fabrics and meanings of color, I found myself emerged into the culture wanting to learn and know more. How could I apply this newfound knowledge into my everyday life? How could I educate and empower others? How could I inspire and support others as I was being inspired? I found myself in a state of compassion. Seeing the varied lives and perspectives of the people, while I was traveling across the country of India. I was fascinated by so much I experienced. Delhi, my first stop in India had such a huge impact I am forever grateful for this experience. This is 40!!!!I can’t believe this is life right now. I am bringing in this next chapter with so much gratitude and am humbled by this experience. Seeing the Taj Mahal has been majestic in so many ways. I am blessed and humbly ready for this next decade and the incredible journey I am on. A dream come true. Visiting Chichen Itzá was such a magical experience. I am filled with so much gratitude and in awe of the intelligence of the architecture, mathematics, astronomy, the history of the Mayan Culture, and so much more.
