Ahhh i love GOD!!

To start off. I wanted to mention how thankful I am for all the blessing God has given me. We are so so blessed. Really. Even in the hardest days when you think that you are lost, and can’t be found. God is with us, he’ll always be.
It’s crazy looking back on days where my relationship with God and Jesus Christ wasn’t the strongest. And sometimes I felt as if he wasn’t there with me. Going back, two years ago I lost my dad. Not only was he my dad, but he was my best friend, my rock, my adventure buddy, my chofer, my everything. Loosing him was truly the hardest thing i’ve ever been through. I felt as if God didn’t love me and wasn’t with me. I though to myself, “if God loved me, why would he take one of the most important persons from my life! Why! why me!?” It was a never ending spiral.
A year later. I started going to church, and soon I began to look forward to Sundays. I began to pray and ask for guidance. Soon I was starting to read the scriptures, I was fasting. I had never felt the spirit as strongly as I did when I was doing all those things.
Since this last December I started meeting with Sister Missionaries, and safe to say I loved every second of it. They helped me strengthen my testimony and find love in reading the scriptures and in God, it was a miracle sent from God. But most of all my best friend was my true miracle. Alissa showed me how good the church is and how everyone deserves a second chance. Going to church makes me SO HAPPY!! I look forward to every Sunday, where I spend most of my day dedicated to our Savior.
With all this being said. This past Saturday, was truly a day I won’t ever forget. As it was was the day I decided to officially become a member of the church, and get baptized!!
I’m so incredibly thankful for all the love and trials God has given me. As it has showed me how much God loves us and cares for us. And built me into the person I am today. He wouldn’t ever put us through something he didn’t think we were capable to overcome. God loves us and that is the truth. by @sofiazendejass
