Tomorrow we step back so the artist can step forward. Same support, new ownership, different energy.

This release marks a quiet shift in how we move. Not pulling away, not dissolving structure, but choosing to let the artist hold the wheel while the foundation stays firm underneath.

That decision opened the door to something better than a standard drop. It created room for collaboration to happen naturally. DJ GI Joe laid down the original break beat for Borinquen, and Miami Beat Wave stepped in with a remix that did not chase attention, it expanded the record. No forced pairing. Just mutual respect and timing lining up.

That is how real teamwork forms. Less hierarchy, more trust. Less control, more clarity.

Whether you connect with the Puerto Rican roots or simply feel the groove, this record carries a shared language. Rhythm first. Ego last.

Tomorrow it lives on all streaming platforms, released by the artist himself, supported by a team that believes the strongest moves are sometimes the quiet ones. taken in Puerto Rico by @sofloent

Before the world knew him as A Fly Guy, we knew him as Rahsaan. A talented emcee with a sense of fashion and a story to tell. Almost 14 years ago we dropped his album, Georgetown, through our sub label SoFlo Entertainment. Here is a snippet of one of our favorite joints, "Gotta Love It". We'll drop more joints from the album all week, but feel free to look it up on your favorite DSP in the meantime.

"Sirens in the Distance" by the rap group A-Alikes, featuring Mos Def, is a track that encapsulates some prevalent social commentary that is still relevant over a decade later. Released by SoFlo Entertainment in 2010, this song immediately garnered acclaim for its poignant lyrics. The track is a gritty narrative that delves into the realities that some shun to speak of, with the omnipresent sound of sirens symbolizing the ongoing struggle for survival in the city. Mos Def's contribution adds a layer of introspective lyricism, blending seamlessly with A-Alikes' hard-hitting verses. The classic production creates a backdrop that enhances the urgent and reflective mood of the song. Overall, "Sirens in the Distance" stands out for its authentic portrayal of life's challenges, resonating with listeners across the internet for its honesty and artistic integrity. by @sofloent

It's crazy to us that we are approaching the 10-year anniversary of the @pugsatomz album "Roof Top". So we had a little fun putting together this video clip in homage of "The Finger", a track off this album.
