I honestly don’t even know where to start. This year was the biggest yet! ❤️💃🪩⁣
⁣
Your Dress Their Dream takes a BIG village, and I’m so grateful for everyone who donated, volunteered, helped behind the scenes or simply showed up to make these dreams possible for young ladies, gentlemen, first responders and military members in our community. ❤️✨⁣

And a special thank you to TCU Fashion Major @jayleevnkdesigns for making this fun reel for me. 🥹❤️

Stay tuned for all the details including how many dresses we collected and more photos! 💃🪩❤️🎈🎉👗

Yesterday our family spent the day doing the 250 Million Acts of Kindness Challenge around Fort Worth. ⁣
⁣
We paid for groceries, handed out gift cards and gave away a few surprise envelopes. At one point I even handed an envelope to the sweet girl working the McDonald’s drive thru while I was ordering a small Coke and fry. Those McD Cokes are the bomb! ⁣
⁣
But my favorite moment happened last night at Quince. I taped our very last envelope to the glass railing outside where I was celebrating a friend’s birthday. Out of nowhere, a cute little girl with face paint and a TCU shirt ran up and got SO excited opening it. Watching that unfold in real time was the best gift of all.⁣
⁣
Every envelope had a little note inside, but so far nobody has messaged or tagged me, so I’m hoping they all made their way to people who truly needed them.⁣
⁣
My stories will disappear today, so I wanted to make a permanent post here because kindness like this deserves to live a little longer. Yesterday was such a beautiful reminder that we as a community deserve kindness, generosity, compassion, and moments like this restore a little faith in humanity. ⁣
⁣
And yes… it felt pretty fitting to spend the day in my Spread Kindness Always GG kicks! @goodneighboramerica @quince.fw #kindness250 #spreadkindness taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @sofortworthit

There are moments in life you never forget, and doing caviar bumps with @wolfgangpuck is definitely one of mine.⁣
⁣
This year’s @jewel_charity Ball absolutely knocked it out of the park, with jeweler @margotmckinney and @melanietatumevents at the helm. I’ve attended JCB for over 30 years, and this was truly one of my favorites.⁣
⁣
Thank you to President @lezlieelkinsmonteleone for your leadership, and to everyone who made the evening such a spectacular success. taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @sofortworthit

Boo Smith 2012-2026🪽🐾💔🦮⁣
⁣
We brought Boo home around Halloween 13½ years ago. Winn was 7 and Reed was 3.5 year old. She was the boys’ best girl and partner in crime. From “Hide and Boo Seek” to “Hell Hound”, she knew the games they made up and loved them as much as they did.⁣
⁣
Boo held her own in Wrestlemania with Spooky the cat (another Halloween adoption), loved the lake and the boat, never passed up a chance to jump in the pool with the boys at my parents, LOVED her BFF neighbor Blue Clemons, and didn’t miss an opportunity to bark at everyone/animal walking by our home. ⁣
⁣
So many incredible memories made over the years. We’ll see you again in Heaven, Boo, cause All Dogs Go To Heaven! 💔🪽🐾🦮 taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @sofortworthit

TCU Parent’s Weekend in the books! Stopped by Winn’s fraternity (BYX) for a tailgate, and also, we all have that goofball friend who drags you to get a picture in front of a Deez Nutz sign. And then off to the game we went and I forgot to take pictures for the rest of the night. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤪 taken in TCU by @sofortworthit

Fairly certain you can not be Miss Fort Worth without having your first official appearance with none other than the OG Miss Fort Worth, aka, the Queen of Forth Worth herself, Christy Dunaway Smith.

Christy and I go back 30 years to SMU. Possibly one of the funniest girls I’ve ever met, her heart is big and she loves her community and hosts best events!

Today she spearheaded, Your Dress Their Dreams, taking in donations to help prom dreams come true for students at Young Woman’s Leadership Academy, We’re All About The Dress and UCC Prom Dreams!
