Are you a queer refugee or asylum seeker and want to learn basic German and everyday life in Germany?

The Erstorientierungskurs (EOK) is free of charge and offers German at A1/A2 level.

Because behind policies and procedures are people, stories, and lives. And they need to be heard!

We invite you all to our live podcast followed by live music from artists from migrant communities!

In this live conversation, we’ll talk about the realities behind deportation procedures, the experiences of people affected by them, and what it means to navigate these systems day after day. We’ll also hear from a guest who will bring a queer perspective to the conversation, exploring how experiences of deportation, displacement, safety and belonging can intersect with queer identity.

And then, our friends Franco, Jacob and Nange will make our evening musical ❤️

Ein Empowerment-Event für FLINTA* nach Flucht und Migration.

Im Rahmen der Aktionswoche gegen Abschiebung schaffen wir gemeinsam einen Raum für Begegnung, Empowerment, Kreativität und Widerstand.

As part of the week of action against deportation, we are creating a space together for connection, empowerment, creativity and resistance.

To round off our actionweek against deportations, we’d like to invite you all to join us at Asimmetric Bar for a borderless celebration – with music, drinks, socialising and dancing.
Because we won’t let the current debates and inhumane policies stop us from having fun! Instead, let’s celebrate life together with people from a wide variety of initiatives and communities. And by the way your donations at the door will support our work against deportations.

What if, instead of reading a book, you could sit across from someone and hear the book?
Join us for a Human Library on experiences of migration, asylum and displacement. Through open conversations, our “books” will tell you stories drawn from their experiences, reflections, perspectives, and insights on migration, asylum, queerness, refuge, and deportation - on their own terms and within the boundaries they choose.
A space to listen, connect, understand, and challenge the narratives that too often reduce people to “cases” or statistics.
Come curious. Ask questions with respect and compassion. Listen with care.
