Why You Shouldn’t Touch Your Piercing at All

Yes, even with clean hands.

A fresh piercing is a healing wound.
Every time you touch, twist, or move the jewelry, you disturb the healing channel.

What happens when you keep touching it?

• irritation
• swelling
• delayed healing
• bumps
• migration of the jewelry

Your body needs stability to heal properly.
Constant movement creates micro-trauma inside the piercing, even if your hands are clean.

You don’t need to spin it.
You don’t need to “check” it.
You don’t need to adjust it unless absolutely necessary.
