. . . thank you always for the softest of days

I have so much love for every person who’s found something meaningful in my art, every artist I’ve had the honor of collaborating with, every event I’m lucky enough to share my art in, every place my art resides in, whether it’s a print on a wall, a scarf to wear, a charm on a bag, a tattoo on someone’s skin, a notebook design that holds every memory.

it’s been a year of crazy amounts of art markets, tattoo designs, butterfly wings, heartfelt notes, time with wonderful tablemates. life is so fast paced I almost couldn’t keep up but I’m so grateful for where my little drawings have taken me…

thank you so much again for another with soft bloom, days can only get softer from here

brb, I’m heartsearching . . . 𖦹ׂ ₊˚⊹⋆

꒰ snippets of softness, things to cherish, dreams in my head… things I can only describe as a form of heartsearching. small reminders that maybe it’s alright to take my time ꒱

“look after yourself, too.” ࿔‧ ֶָ֢˚˖𐦍˖˚ֶָ֢ ‧࿔

soft bloom, for me, has always been about embracing vulnerability, so here’s a piece that has allowed me to indulge in it…

this month has been a lot of praying for better days and outcomes. I can feel my angels have been working really hard to see those wishes through, so I felt like drawing one that’s resting easy after it all 🪽

because of them, my 8 year old dog, Dean, (the big guy at the upper left corner) is currently recovering well from a recent surgery I was really nervous about! I almost thought we would lose him, but he is still here, snoring beside me like always 🤍 (we’re praying his biopsy results also turn out okay, please pray for him also if you can ☁️)

been struggling to get out of a headspace where I wasn’t sure how ‘soft’ I was anymore, why I’m drawn to darker shades in my art, why I find myself going quiet more often

I’ve read that entering different chapters in your life means learning to sit in the discomfort for a bit, to stay still long enough to hear what your mind and body wants, to understand what it has in store for you. maybe there are versions of me to come that I have yet to embrace

and if that shows up in my art, I hope that’s something you wouldn’t mind seeing, too

I’m starting to do art markets again and it would be really nice to see you in person, I always feel wonderful energies meeting people who love soft bloom, and seeing other artists I love
