some dreamy pastel staffordshire dogs 💕💚💕 swipe for the full piece and a close up of one dog 🦴

gave these lil vases i got at the charity shop a makeover 💗💅🏻💗 and then painted one of them when i wasn’t happy w/ how my painting was going 🎀 swipe for a close up & before pic! excited to find lil flowers to put in them one day :’)

id: an acrylic painting on a square canvas. in the centre of the painting is a white dog with pointy ears, standing up like a human. they have a very minimal, cartoon face, with small black dots for eyes and a simple nose and mouth. they’re wearing a lilac frock with a white frilly collar and a small purple beret. behind them, is of some plant life and a tree covered in leafy foliage. on the right there are some lilac flowers, a darker shade than the frock and the hat. this shady, leafy spot overlooks the sea and the sky at sunset.

to the right and left of the painting, there are small vases that look just like the dog in the painting.

had the best time at @colorandshapesalon 's first birthday party a few weeks ago 💕💈🎀✂️ truly the coolest space full of the best people 🥰

i had the honour of making a giant frame for the photo wall! definitely the largest thing i've ever made 😮 it was a lot of fun to work on! 🌟 ty to my lovely assistant @mostly.beef for all the hours spent papier-mâcheing this with meeee!

We will have paper, art supplies, and clipboards + we will do our best to secure picnic tables for seating & drawing space!

We also encourage people to bring their own supplies or sketchbooks if they want!

We will have some juice boxes and snacks, but feel free to bring your own refreshments! We only ask that folks step away from the main space to enjoy them! 🤝

We are committed to accessibility, disability justice, and keeping our community safe! As part of this commitment, we will still be requiring high quality masks (KN95+) for all those attending, despite being outside.

We will have lots of extra masks available!

a perfect date day with @mostly.beef 💕💐😊 at the @natgallerycan to see the Qillaniq exhibition before it ended! such a beautiful exhibition with such a wide range of works by circumpolar indigenous artists 🤍 we ended the date in the park under our fav tree (the one we got married under 🥰)

also i got to use a scooter! :') so so helpful & easy to use & made it so much easier for me to experience the museum without my body feeling bad after.

also, all i had to do was ask to use one and the staff were very helpful and asked no questions. i cannot recommend asking for a scooter/wheelchair in spaces that provide them enough. i know a lot of people feel weird or think "i can walk, so i will" or feel shame about it even if they're someone who would benefit from using one.

also we brought @spaghettysburg on our date in the form of the small white mouse pin on my vest 😌🐁💕

inspired by my wife @mostly.beef doing the cutest lil pose post belly slide at the last @ovrollerderby rapids home game! 😭💞🥺 tee-hee at roller derby 💅💞🥰

the (first ever!) @thewhiteswanball last month was my fav event i've ever been to! sooo fun to make our lil costumes and hang with other fantastical masked queer pals 🥰💞💞💞

not to mention the (free!) tasty vegan treats, delicious mocktails, letter writing station, and incredible tunes by @monaamonet 💞😭🥺💿💐 (i Wish we got there in time for the live violin! alas)

some of my favs from the @horridrealm october prompts from 2023! this is one of my fav series of illustrations i've ever done! 💞⚔️💞

it's áine's birthdayyyyy! 💞🎂💞 áine is one of my very best friends in the world! and they have been homebound with M.E. (Myalgic encephalomyelitis) (on top of their other chronic illnesses) since october 2024.

earlier this year they made an "áine doll" for people to take with them to places the real áine misses, like art galleries, theatre performances, and nature!
