i love this song @adelajergova by @softerplace.diary

the water dancer by ta-nehisi coates is the most beautiful thing i have read about the underground railroad.

coates uses language in a way that doesn’t just tell you what’s happening. it puts you inside the body of someone living it. the main character’s voice is so specific that you forget you’re reading history.

i saw myself in this book. i saw my ancestors.
i felt things i didn’t have words for before i read this.

if you want to get lost in something that also brings you home. this is it.

if you would have told me in 2017 this would be my life, i would’ve called you a liar. there’s life on the other side of depression. they are not lying when they say it gets better. you just have to trust yourself and block out the noise that makes you feel anything other than who you want to be. but the key is finding out who that is. #depression #mentalhealthawareness by @softerplace.diary

layover in syracuse and honestly she delivered 🌸

books. beverages. and birria. that’s it. that’s the layover. no notes. no complaints. just a flight attendant making the most of a few hours in a city she didn’t expect to love.

what’s the best thing you’ve ever found on a layover or unexpected stop? 💭 by @softerplace.diary

i’ve been itching to start a series but nothing felt authentic to me. when i feel like im not being myself, i can’t wholeheartedly put effort into creating something. my friend and fellow FA @brianakashay shared a video about just posting what’s in your camera roll and thus this idea was born. thanks for the inspiration 🦋🩵💭☁️ stay tuned for episode 001. #flightattendant #travel #vlog by @softerplace.diary

I present to you my 2026 mission statement. This year is going to be an amazing one. The stars are aligned and I have done the hard work and said the hard things to achieve this level of freedom, happiness, and unabashed love for myself. This year I aim to give back as much as possible. So many aided me in building this beautiful world for myself. Now it’s time to pay it forward. Let’s go get some dreams. To infinity and beyond! #newyearsresolution #2026 by @softerplace.diary
