This months theme: Coming Home to Yourself

We’ve explored self love and dreamed of a new world. Now we’re turning back inward... to the version of yourself that’s always been there, waiting quietly. What does it feel like to return to that part of you? What does it need? What has it been holding onto?

who said you need a full desk setup? ☁️🫧

grabbed my travel kit, headed to my sister’s, and got a hobonichi spread done anyway. sometimes the best journal sessions happen when you least expect it.

drop a 🎒 if you have a travel kit or tell me what’s in yours — I want to know! by @softerplace.proj

using every medium that I enjoy as a form of expression has been life affirming. as a child, I was often told I was doing too much. my hands in too many pots. my imagination too wild and too interested in the impossible. being realistic never got me anywhere. I thank God I never let my spirit die. many times we came close but we never faltered or lost faith. anything has always been and will always be possible.

I say all that to say, my healing journey has lead me to youtube and long form videos time and time again and I’m not sure why I always stop using this medium. Maybe for the fear of being seen and misunderstood. I am a multitude of things and beings and becomings. I’m always at play. never taking myself too seriously but always being f*cking for real.

over this next year, I invite you into the journey. I’m hoping to have learned at least 12 important lessons and it is my aim to stay consistent and share them with you all. here’s my first offering of many. An Honest January Reflection part 001.

I encourage you to utilize the prompts in the video to assess what last month was like for you. recording this was so therapeutic and it was even more fun to edit. learning to appreciate the present moment helped me so much this first month of the year. more of that please.
