We are thrilled to share a recap of the highlights from our participation in @casaornellamilano , where the theme Animale Sociale inspired a unique gallery, conceived and curated by the talented interior designer @mariavittoriapaggini

The undisputed protagonist was her “Motel” collection for SoftHouse , an ode to design that celebrates conviviality and interaction. Among the stars of the collection, the Thelma and Louise coffee tables, the Last Call nightstands, and the Toy Boy side tables captured attention with their innovative shapes and functionality.

Our most iconic pieces, which continue to define the Soft House style, were also present: the timeless elegance of the Les Baguettes sofa in sage green cotton velvet and the enveloping comfort of the Duetto armchair.

The Duetto armchair, an iconic 2015 piece designed by Lucia Ippolito for Softhouse, undergoes a transformation.

Distinguished by its unmistakable double backrest, it is now dressed in luxurious cerulean natural fur: the “Sulley fur.” A bold choice by @mariavittoriapaggini for the Animale Sociale – Nessuno mi può giudicare edition at @casaornellamilano

An exuberant piece that envelops the senses and dominates the scene with its sculptural presence.

Design Week 2026 has drawn to a close, and what an incredible journey it has been! ✨

We were once again honored to participate in the fourth edition of @casaornellamilano , conceived and curated by the visionary @mariavittoriapaggini . This special collaboration has allowed us to be part of Maria Vittoria Paggini’s project, where she signs a unique capsule collection for Softhouse, Motel Collection, blending exquisite craftsmanship with innovative material research.

We are thrilled to announce that Soft House will be a protagonist at Milan Design Week 2026! This year, our presence is part of the exclusive @casaornellamilano installation, in its unprecedented fourth edition titled “Animali Sociali”

The entire project has been conceived and curated by the talented @mariavittoriapaggini,who has reinterpreted our furniture with a bold and contemporary vision. Once again, the Motel collection, designed by Maria Vittoria Paggini for SoftHouse, will take center stage.

We look forward to welcoming you to this new guise of Casa Ornella and discovering the SoftHouse products together.

Softhouse in Paris: Italian Elegance at Maison & Objet 2026

We are thrilled to share a recap of our presence at Maison & Objet in Paris this January, where we presented a collection that celebrates the balance between sartorial tradition and technical innovation.

The undisputed star of our Capsule Collection is the Duna Sofa, upholstered in the classic white and green stripes—a timeless piece that everyone loves. The Trevira CS fabric allows it to be used for both Residential projects and the demanding Boutique Hotel sector (Contract).

To complete the upholstered line, we showcased the Cabochon Sofa and the Huit Huit Armchair, covered in precious cotton velvet in green and terracotta colors, highlighting our artisanal mastery.

Finally, the furniture from the Motel Collection, designed by @mariavittoriapaggini for Softhouse: the Thelma & Louise Coffee Tables with a flutè mirror detail, an element of pure elegance, and the Toy Boy, versatile side tables and night stands. With their gloss 70% lacquers, the Toy Boy pieces add a pop and elegant touch to the living space.

A special thank you goes to @effetti_studio_creativo who, with their decorative moons, contributed to giving elegance and light to all the furnishings, and to the company @caspal__ which, with its decorative objects crafted in brass, enhanced the lines of Softhouse furniture.
