@dhrmonth couples free day: Astrid and Hiccup

How to train your dragon is probably one of my favorite trilogy of all time and I just need need need to get this idea out of my system LOL. The thought of them riding a dragon into the air surrounded by other dragons is just ugh. I can now sleep. The sizing here is pretty weird bc the original is supposed to be 16:9 hahaha toothless is too big to draw. I was debating on the color if its better at night or twilight and chooses the latter and I had so much fun doing this pink blue hue for the sky ahh…Also isn’t this song so nostalgic? I think I might draw actually Hiccup and Astrid jn the future hahaha one of my all time fave fictional couple ughughhhh.

I think this is one of my favorite drawing just yet.

Détraquée — Christmas at Hermione’s — left to right was Theodore Nott, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy — photo taken by Evelyn and Robert Granger

———————————-

Biblically inaccurate rendition of the Christmas chapter (chap 83) from Détraquée, one of my all time favorite fanfic.

This was a request from friends in the détraquée server! We were wishing that there’s an art for this and then I realized that I can just do it🧍🏻‍♀️🧍🏻‍♀️🧍🏻‍♀️🧍🏻‍♀️ so yeah if you’re wondering

— lia why the Christmas in July? Anyway Merry Christmas.

Look at my husband Theodore Nott though (he was supposed to have beard but no beard for him 😔 hence why it’s biblically inaccurate)

“Father. Let me confess.”

#dramionemonth2025 || Day 25: Vampire
@dhrmonth

———————————————-
Hah! Probably my lasy dhr month entry hhh…Vampire Hermione and Priest Draco. The veil and the hand in the back don’t make sense, but I was crashing out while lining it, so let’s just pretend nothing is wrong. 😭 But yes continue with the story!

I thought of Hermione who first came to him genuinely for confession, having recently turned. Let’s go with the twilight route here, where she has superhuman strength because she’s a freshly turned vampire. Anyway! Draco knew something was off, but he listened to her anyway, bc that’s what priests do. Over time, Hermione came more and more often, until she felt that Draco was the only one who truly understood her.

It slowly turned into infatuation, and she became determined to turn him because she didn’t want to live in a world without him, while Draco believed that immortality would be a sin. Etcetc. Also the coloring was too damn dark. Ill do better next time…

Happy Birthday to the prettiest, smartest, bravest girl in town, Hermione Granger. We love you to the moon and back.

———————————————

I didn’t got time to make a new art but I remembered I haven’t and never uploaded this one in full. Also actually I think Hermione is a very autumn girl instead of summer but for some reason I wanted to draw her in a summer-ish style. Maybe because it’s not officially autumn until September 22nd? At least I said so.

#dramionemonth2026 || Day 17: Romeo and Juliet
@dhrmonth

I sighed drawing the background if you care. Not my specialty (they know, eve) never. Lining, attempt at photo bashing, etcetc. Ik this was different from the painting prompt, but I wanted to do the before moment where he was just starstruck. Let’s pretend he was standing on top of a tree bark…Also last one for now until next week for dhr month. Bye I did more than I expected.

He taught her about the broom, the lift and the turn
What a hand could ask for, and what it must allow
She hovered just above the ground and looked at him once
And love was the word he thought of before she came down.

Or: Away from the crowd.
Ft. Harry and Ron far in the back as dots (not canon bc why is harry taller)

#dramionemonth2026 || Day 16: la belle dame sans merci
@dhrmonth

I always wanted to do a drawing inspired by this painting, but I didn’t want to do it w horse…Then I suddenly thought of Draco teaching Hermione how to love flying—even when she’s refused to at first—and doing it away from Hogwarts. Admittedly I f up on her legs, but I was too far to fix it so pls ignore it. Sigh…I’d draw forbidden forest but I tried it and it doesn’t work quite right with the environment I wanted to go with in my head.

Don’t mind him. It’s his first time as a demi-god + talking to a girl.
