If I could recommend just one place to spend a day outside the city, it would be Esperanza Lake Resort. It brings together incredible food, beautiful nature, relaxing activities and all in between.

The land that has it all. It was my third and longest time in Portugal and this time was THE time. I found all the beauty, the breathtaking nature, the amazing food, the culture and everything in between.

I was soaking in all the frames I took, not really posting anything, but that’s just me. Sometimes I need more time off socials because it feels like the only way to truly recharge.

It was a busy period, as it always is during the holidays. I didn’t get as much time as I would have liked to work on my photography, but that’s okay. This season is all about quality time with loved ones and I’m happy to let photography wait.

For the past week we had a lot of snow and enjoyed a beautiful winter, but I still have some photos from the sunny, snowless days, so I want to share them before posting the white ones. Most of these were taken on the second day of Christmas, when I was strolling through the city, getting some much needed steps after all the eating and sitting. taken in Vilnius, Lithuania by @softmornings.m

They named Vilnius European Christmas Capital 2025 for a reason.

The air is heavy with the scent of mulled wine and sweet festive pastries. A little red train, full of sightseers, slowly navigates the Old Town’s most picturesque lanes, where stunning decorations light up every shopfront and restaurant. Most of you don’t know this, but I’m from Lithuania, a beautiful little Baltic country in Northern Europe and so this Tuesday we had a Lithuanian tennis tournament in Marbella.

It was actually a very strange feeling because you’re sitting in Spain but everybody around you is speaking the language of home. Even though there is a big Lithuanian community in Marbella in general, with many people coming here to spend winters, it’s not like you see so many of us in one place every day, so that was definitely an interesting experience. taken in Marbella, Spain by @softmornings.m

I’ve pretty much forgotten about my personal account. I’m always here, with my 54 followers, 12 likes and very happy with it.

For a long time, I’ve wanted to create a space just for myself, a place where I can share my photography without feeling the pressure to share myself, where people are genuinely interested in photography.

It feels so refreshing to open my feed and see other people’s work, inspiration and beautiful places. It makes me want to create more. That’s why I’ve decided that this account will only be for photography and good old Facebook will be for talking with my friends and liking their dinner photos. Sorry, but Christmas content isn’t on the horizon for a month or so. It’s kind of hard to feel festive here with the air still feeling more like summer than November. Marbella’s been lit up for weeks, but sunny days and palm trees don’t exactly scream Christmas spirit to me and those southern decorations don’t help either, to be honest. taken in Marbella, Spain by @softmornings.m

My first few days under the Andalusian sun have been all about new experiences. New coffee spots, new streets to wander, new chances to find places I love. And, of course, new habits, like applying sunscreen five times a day, no kidding.

It really feels like the sun is closer here, hotter, more intense, but I’ve also come to realize that the time of day doesn’t seem to matter much here. The light, the shadows are always there, waiting to be noticed, ready to be captured. taken in Marbella, Spain by @softmornings.m
