Soft Mum Era was born from this truth; the strength of a mother doesn’t always look like holding it all together. Sometimes strength looks like slowing down, choosing ease, and finding joy in the small moments.

My hope is that every mother who picks up this book will feel seen, heard, and embraced. And my bigger hope is that society at large begins to understand that caring for mothers means caring for the future.

One year of reminding mums that motherhood is beautiful, but it is not the end of who we are.

One year of conversations, confessions, community, laughter, big dreams, soft moments and the gentle reminder that you are allowed to be a mum and still be YOU.

What started as a book became a movement.
A movement for the mum who is tired.
For the mum rediscovering herself.
For the mum building her dreams.
For the mum who wants more and doesn’t need to feel guilty for it.

A year ago, this was a book.

Today it is something we did not dare put into words when we started, It is a community, a conversation. A permission slip that has passed through thousands of hands and landed exactly where it needed to go.

To every mother who read the book and saw herself in its pages. To every woman who shared it with a friend, a sister, a stranger who looked like she needed it. To everyone who has followed this journey, commented, saved a post and shared it because something finally said what you had been feeling but could not name, This is for you!

Soft Mum Era was never just a book, It was always an invitation and the fact that you accepted it, that you showed up, that you stayed, is the thing we are most grateful for.
The community we are building is because of you. The Soft Mum Club exists because of you.
Every page, every post, every conversation that started with “I felt so seen” is because you chose to be here.
Here is to everything this has been and everything we are still becoming,Thank you for making this more than we imagined it could be.

The school run is coming, the packed lunch, the homework, the emotional support, the cooking, the cleaning, the appointments, the worrying at 2am about things nobody else even noticed and at the end of all of it, she still looks up and wonders if she is doing enough.
That is the part that gets me every single time, Not the load, but the guilt that follows it!
Mums are out here being everything to everyone and still somehow finding room to feel like they are falling short. And with back to school season around the corner that feeling is only about to get louder.
So we wrote about it. The mum guilt, the lunchboxes, the mornings you raised your voice and replayed it all day, and why you are still a good mother in the middle of all of it.

Motherhood looks better when you stop performing it and start living it!
Nobody warns you that the “chic” version of motherhood isn’t the aesthetic, it’s the ease. It’s choosing softness on purpose. Holding your baby a little longer because you want to, not because you have to. Raising a glass to yourself because rest is not a reward you have to earn. Watching another mum win and feeling nothing but joy for her.

There is something quietly extraordinary about watching a woman become a mother.
The way she carries life before anyone can see it. The way she pushes through the part nobody photographs. The way she wakes up, postpartum and piecing herself back together, and still chooses to show up for someone who cannot yet say thank you.
Winning in motherhood does not always look like a highlight reel. Sometimes it looks like surviving the night. Sometimes it looks like healing while holding. Sometimes it is just making it through the day and deciding to try again tomorrow.
To every mother in her pregnancy, in her postpartum, in the messy and magnificent middle of it all: we see you. We are cheering for you. You are winning, even when it does not feel like it.

One day you're walking out the house with a cute little bag, feeling yourself completely, The next day that same bag is somewhere in the corner collecting dust while you're lugging around what can only describe as a whole portable warehouse, the ultimate 'survival kit' .
A mum bag is not just a bag, It becomes a lifestyle, It is a commitment. It is a "just in case" mentality that will never leave you even when the kids grow up *sike!*
