🔪Slice Me Up Top🔪

A genius pattern by the talented @silly.hands releasing Feb 21st! I had to hit the club in this one. This is my first test KNIT and I’m so happy with the results. There is so much room for creativity and modifications. I opted for cap sleeves and jump ring fastenings. Its also made to measure! Yarn is discontinued @noroyarns Hisui found at my fave place @seattlerecreative. The pattern drops in less than a week so keep your eye on Sarah’s page for the release 🫶 taken in Cherry Seattle by @softshellcrafts

My two most recent FOs go so well together, I had to wear them out to show Boston that I know ball.

I signed up for two pattern tests in a row and by some miracle finished both early! Patterns will be out 🔜 and details can be found in the following slides. My favorite part of these tests is being inspired by all the other testers beautiful makes! Connecting through our crafts with people all over the world is a beautiful thing 🥹

And being connected to my local yarn shop and community is just as amazing! All yarn from my beloved @teacozyyarnshop ofc 💛

Skew Skirt by @filthyknits in @sandnesgarn Line colors Lavender and Matcha 💜💚

My dream skirt fr! @flockfiberfestival saw it first, and im surprised by how wearable and easy it has been to style since. The Line drapes like a dream and despite being hella stitches, the skirt isn’t too heavy! It was also very fun and engaging to knit.

The Suzuran Top by @mei.knits in @kelbournewoolens Mojave colorway Electric Blue 💙

The beauty really is in the details with this one. Mei has such an eye for simple but stunning edging and shaping. I can’t get over how perfectly this fits! I had the pleasure of meeting Mei when she was in Seattle and she really is as cool and lovely irl as she appears online.

Mfw I can finally wear my hand-knit fingering weight linen top that I thought would never end. Truly one of my biggest fiber feats thus far and I couldn’t be happier !!

🌿Lichen Vest by @offtrackcraft🌿

Did you know it’s really fun to test knit for your friend? Did you also know you can get this pattern (along with a super cute crochet bag pattern) free if you visit @teacozyyarnshop today thru Sunday?

Happy pattern release day and first day of @pugetsoundlystour! Elsa did an incredible job with her first pattern! It’s so fun, versatile, and perfect for the transitional season. I made mine out of @noroyarns Sonata and I couldn’t be happier with the fabric.

My mods: For a cropped fit, I omitted the final seed stitch section and made a slight split hem to prevent my rolled edge from going too high.

🛑The Hex Sweater🛑

I had the pleasure of testing this beautiful crochet pattern by @hook._and._hand. Between the shapes, colors, textures, and fit, I couldn’t be happier with how this came out! The pattern offers so many options and customizations for cuts and sleeve lengths. I opted for the Ragged Vest version which turned out to be more of a tee, and I love it! The pattern is out now, so be sure to go to Alyssa’s page to purchase and learn more. My only mod was knitting an applied I-cord along the collar.

First FO of 2026! I had the best time making the Prosta Beanie by @ratandseawitch for bestie. Here, Lij is rocking the reversible skully in his natural habitat. Check out @thriftedwonderz TODAY at Church of Vintage in Bellingham and regularly at the Fremont Sunday Market 💛

I used my new favorite yarn @blueskyfibers Woolstok Worsted purchased at @allwoundupyarnshop

This year, some of my goals are to craft more with others and share more of my makes! Working on crafts and connecting with community is what keeps me going. Making this as part of the #ProstaKAL was so fun and inspiring 🥰 taken in Fremont Sunday Market by @softshellcrafts

Trick or cheese! 🧀 I customized my favorite crochet cowboy hat pattern to go with my cheese suit by @fashionbrandcompany. The genius that is Sarah the mouse provided the Kraft singles that we handed out to confused and hungry club rats last night. I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween 💛🐭

Had the absolute pleasure of participating in the Threads of Community Fashion Show benefiting @ragfinery_ at @make.shiftartspace alongside so many amazing designers 💖

🌼Primavera Balaclava🌼
Completed this pattern test for @unikoiatelier a lil while back and created the perfect spring hood! I’ve been wanting to learn this flower square motif for the longest time and Koi’s instructions were so clear and easy to follow.
I used up lots of scrap cotton for this project. And I made the mistake of blocking the whole piece without checking how my light and dark colors react to each other and the purple did bleed a bit 🫠 but I don’t think it took away from the beauty of the piece!
The pattern will be releasing later this month, so keep an eye out on Koi’s page for details! 🫶
