Opening a second consignment shop has taught us one thing very quickly.⁠

We thought we'd be searching for enough inventory to fill the racks.⁠
⁠
Instead, the response from consignors has been incredible (and somewhat overwhelming!)⁠
⁠
We've welcomed thousands of pieces through our doors and even had to pause intake a few times to keep up.⁠
⁠
All of this has helped shape where Contemporary is headed.⁠
⁠
We're becoming more intentional about the brands and pieces we accept so we can create a better experience for everyone.⁠
⁠
For consignors, that means your pieces have a better chance of standing out and selling.⁠
⁠
For shoppers, it means a more curated mix of contemporary designers, premium denim, and labels that aren't sitting on every rack at the mall.⁠
