Grand rising peeps! Today I’m demonstrating how I organically treat aphids on my collards. I apologize to the bee 🐝 friend I shot off the leaf during filming of this video 😂🤣. #collardgreens #organicpestcontrol #aphids #gardening #homestead taken in The Rocky Mountains by @soilundernails

Hey peeps! This is the bed I planted in the spring with the broccoli , cabbage, and collard greens. The collards thrived all through the hot summer temperatures. Now that it’s cooling off the leaves will become sweet and perfect to eat. #homestead #collardgreens #cabbage #broccoli #growfood taken in The Rocky Mountains by @soilundernails

Good day peeps! This is a quick walk through of 2 of my raised beds that are going nuts right now so I am covering them at night with plastic to extend the grow season. Nights are dropping to temperatures between 40-50 degrees. Tomatoes, Eggplant and Malabar spinach are all heat loving plants.

Good day peeps! The strawberries are still thriving in the Tower Garden. Quick update there have been plants that died and others that have been prolific all summer. This has been a very educational time learning about the strawberry plants unique growing style and pattern. I definitely recommend growing them in the Aeroponic and Hydroponic systems. Transplant all of the runners to an outdoor space. You will have a huge continuous harvest over the years. Strawberry plants multiply and spread vigorously so be mindful how and where you transplant them at in your garden or on your land. The fruit is very sweet and Rollins quickly. I’ve learned the more you harvest the more they grow. Thank you for watching. Grow your own fruit at home! Bless

Grand rising peeps! This beautiful whale is swimming unusually close to the coastline. This is such a magical sight to see. Enjoy nature as much as you can every day before it’s gone.

Nellie Brown’s legacy, like that of many melanated cowboys and cowgirls, was largely overshadowed by popular depictions of the Wild West that focused on white frontiersmen. However, her story is emblematic of the diverse and untold histories that shaped the American West. Her presence challenged conventions and proved that the cowboy way of life was not exclusive to any one race or gender. Whether rounding up cattle at dawn or galloping through dusty arenas, she embodied the independent spirit of the frontier. Today, as historians and enthusiasts work to reclaim the narratives of melanated cowboys and cowgirls, Nellie Brown stands as a powerful reminder of the resilience and skill of the many forgotten figures who helped shape the West.
