✨ Featured Artist: Susy Baranszky-Job

Susy Baranszky-Job grew up in Vancouver, BC and now counts Galiano Island and Tsawwassen home. She has been creating art forever and ever, and was a high school visual art educator for over thirty-five years. She possesses a Diploma of Fine Arts, a Bachelor of Studio Art, a B.ED in visual art education, a Masters in Arts Education, and a post masters Advanced Diploma in Art Therapy.

As an full time artist now, she primarily paints on anything, with anything that leaves a mark; she also loves getting her hands muddy with a fabulous ball of clay. Her work has been sold through private and public galleries, commercial retail stores, art cooperatives, and by commission. Boating in the waters off the coast, spotting wildlife anywhere, getting lost abroad and in her own thoughts, and obsessively loving her brilliant family all contribute to the visual musings of her messy mind.

Soi Ram was born from a love of Bangkok's winding street lanes, the kind where plastic stools line the pavement and the smells of lemongrass and charcoal fill the air. We brought those memories from Soi Rambuttri to the corner of Delta Street, where every plate tells a story passed down through our family for generations. Pull up a chair. You're already home.
