Lake Geneva, that little slice of heaven across the border. Every opportunity to spend a day on the water, celebrating life and love is a day worth living. This past weekend was pure magic and beauty for L & C, an absolutely idyllic scene complemented by perfect design. When couples decide to host their weddings here, it’s to come back home and share the experience that is lake life with their people. The nostalgia runs deep. I couldn’t be happier for these two, their families and all that lies ahead in their bright future. Can’t wait to share a little of Day 2 with you tomorrow! Congratulations, what a ride! Ceremony in the round, reception under the stars ✨ A design led by the setting. Guests gathered for the ceremony among towering delphinium, then drifted into a clear-top tent finished with sage walls, sculptural pendant lighting, and a striped dance floor beneath the evening sky. From colour palette, floral, lighting, linens, seating, to layout, we love all the decisions that drive how you and your guests will experience your day. Today’s Design Case Study features a July city wedding whose goals were: Textural, Warm, Understated, Fun, Relaxed, Joyful. We think we knocked it out of park with the vendors we collaborated with to make our couple’s day uniquely theirs. We don’t start with the flowers or the linens…we start by listening to you. Understanding how you like to celebrate an accomplishment, where you go for inspiration. Every design decision that follows (from the colour palette, to the chairs, to the layout) has the one intended goal: making your wedding feel like you. This one felt like Paris.
