Our Friday the 13th baby turned 13 today. A teenager! Declan we are so in awe of you. Your sense of compassion and kindness, your drive, your humor. A boy who has no issue telling his mom he loves her on campus in front of his friends. You know who you are and what kind of person you want to be and man that is cooler than anything. We love you more than the sun, the moon, and all the stars above - always on forever. by @soitskate

Cooperstown was everything people say. Parents and kids truly had the most magical time, and our SOBA boys played their butts off. They reached the Sweet 16 of 102 teams by mercying the 4th ranked team - one of those super teams put together with kids from around the country. It was so incredible to be there as parents with families that we LOVE, cheering all our kids on together. To see each of the kids excel was beautiful. As for Declan, he killed it - 5 home runs including a grand slam, great fielding at 1B, and he was a beast on the mound with 12 strike outs and only 1 hit. 🔥🔥🔥 #cooperstown #dreamspark #homerunhitter #pitcher #12ubaseball by @soitskate

2nd homerun bomb of the day for Declan. This one also cleared 30+ ft netting in center field. #homerunhitter by @soitskate

Declan with a rocket on the 4th of July. First of two homeruns for the day. Shot straight out over a 30+ foot fence and onto the next field. #homerunhitter by @soitskate

So proud of Declan and his whole Sherman Oaks All Star team. It was a great run. In the end they lost a hard fought district championship to Encino, but it was beautiful to see him excel on the mound and at the plate. by @soitskate

Tough game. Didn’t get the win, but Declan had a great day. Came in as reliever for the last 2 2/3 innings. 5Ks and only one hit (sadly a HR). Also went 1-2 with a single. All in great showing against a super-stacked Encino team. by @soitskate
