The debris of time collects in our hearts, but the leaves always find a way to show up. quiet reminders that growth waits, even when it feels like all that’s left are branches. I wish I could take all my loved ones to the water, let the tides carry the weight for a while. The land is unwell. People are unwell. But we are still here, still searching for ways to nourish. to heal what we can, to grow what refuses to stay buried 🫶🏽🍃 I found strength to write again, I guess that’s worth something by @sojujuvi

September 2026 was a love letter 💌

35 years and 35 more

I cant stop thinking about the fact that Im 35 years old and how the average woman on earth lives to be about 72. What that means for me is that I may possibly have another lifetime ahead of me. Another 35 years. Except this time the entirety of those 35 years will be more choice and more knowing and more life

Instead it will be perhaps 35 whole years of walking through the world with a consciousness and some lessons learned and some family I’ve chosen and some resources l’ve gathered and some practice kissing and some tools for friendship and some tactics for coping and some idea of what I need to be well.

This is a beautiful horizon.

Bath time in the homeland makes me cry

while we still hereee

I’ll remember yuzu forever

Until our bellies were full

I’ve never seen anything like it before

A birdie for u a squishy for me

Learning / morphing / evolving

This is a precious moment, let us be here to receive it.
We are travelers on a cosmic journey,stardust,swirling and dancing in the whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, and to share.

Tucked down a little District 3 alley, Nhà Ba Teria is all curved terracotta walls, open air, and sunlight slipping through the greenery. Had a matcha with coconut blossom nectar and wanted to stay all afternoon.

It’s Monday, one of my final days here. My mind keeps wandering to everything waiting for me at home, to how the grind can take even our quiet moments before we’ve had them.

Watching people come and go, remembering what it feels like to have an afternoon that belongs to me. I’ll carry this one home with me~

Every time I come back to Vietnam, I feel so lucky to be here. And somewhere in that joy, I feel guilty, too. 💔

I get to wander, eat my way through the day, hear our language all around me, and see parts of this country my parents never got to see.

My mom was barely 20 when she had to leave. My dad was 17, and it would be the last time he ever saw his parents. I think about that when I’m out here making memories, knowing they had to leave so much behind.

I wish they could have had more time here. I wish they could have seen all of this with me. 🇻🇳

Recently, I’ve been more clear on what more I want to say yes to, and be in the experience of generating, sharing, and offering in my relationships. I’m more able to notice an ancient, deeply wired reactivity in me and instead choose to track the origin story, honor it, let it go, return to the present moment n my own agency to make the best decisions for the here + now~

Being here, asking people where they eat, following their recs, and sharing a table feels like one small way of saying yes to all of that.

Today we were shopping and I asked a guy at a boutique where we should eat. He sent us to a cơm tấm spot. Two minutes after we got there, he pulled up next to us after he closed shop. Shoutout to da guy at @waa.studios 😂

Jet lag led us straight to Bánh Canh Cua 87, and the Viet in me was very happy here. Bánh canh cua is a thick, chewy noodle soupie in a rich crab broth… 5/5 stars! Oh and $8 for 3 bowls my g 🦀🍜
