Three decades of friendship, a lifetime of love.

Watching my dear friend SAIRA grow into the incredible, independent woman she is today has been nothing short of extraordinary. From childhood memories to this momentous occasion, my connection with her and her family—her remarkable mother, her wonderful brother—has been a journey filled with love, trust, and deep bonds.

For her reception dinner, we wanted to create something that reflected her essence: timeless, sophisticated, and striking. Inspired by the effortless grace of Jackie Onassis, we designed a look that exuded classic elegance while celebrating SAIRA’s vibrant spirit in a bold shade of red—a color as powerful as it is celebratory. The result? A vision of refinement, confidence, and pure beauty.

But what made this experience truly special was the opportunity to dress her two beautiful daughters for the event as well. At HSY, we take immense pride in creating not just garments, but stories woven in fabric, ensuring that families stand together in harmony, each individual shining with their own identity while forming a perfect, seamless whole.

To my Hajjo @thinkpinkxebh what a crazy ride it’s been, from all our trips- you will forever be my favourite travel partner who is willing to do all my crazy high energy stuff, never says no to a museum or an art gallery or just walking through new cities, your love for feeding us is your love language, and I’m truly grateful for you forever feeding me. Your determination never ceases to amaze me- whether it’s for your businesses or Think Pink, how hard and tirelessly you work is a testament to who you truly are. Thank you for the fashion advice, the make up advice, but mostly for all the years of friendship and sisterhood. ✨ The “C” word has affected every one of us in some way, so when I was asked to MC the @thinkpinkxebh 20th Annual Cancer Ball in aid of @cr_uk at the Chancery Rosewood, I didn’t hesitate for a moment.

@taruntahiliani unveiled his latest collection, with @jewelsbyqueenie as the official jewellery partner. International designers generously donated outfits for the Fashion Against Cancer Auction, powered by @collectionbynadia — raising vital funds in the fight against cancer.

But above all, it was the survivors who lit up the night. Their grace, resilience and quiet strength as they continue to battle this awful disease shone brighter than anyone else.

Thank you to everyone who attended, who bid, and especially to our cancer warriors. It’s for you that the @thinkpinkxebh team led by Hajra Ahmed — and all of us who show up year after year, determined to make a difference. 💗🎗️

Happy birthday to my twin @irfanhaque — my built-in best friend, and lifelong tormentor. You’ve tolerated my hyper plans, rolled your eyes at every idea, and still showed up every single time — usually muttering under your breath. Your loyalty, work ethic, and dramatic “I think I’m dying” hypochondria are unmatched, and somehow, we all still adore you for it 😂

You tortured me through those high school 6am drop-offs blasting Snoop like we were on tour — but I’ll give you credit, that’s when you taught me to love rap and hip-hop. So here’s to you, my favourite drama queen, loyal friend, and the best example to my girls of how men should treat their other halves (minus the moaning). From the days we first met in Karachi—when we were younger than our own kids are now—to countless adventures together in Amsterdam, Italy, Paris, and even through the tougher journeys in hospitals, we’ve shared life’s biggest moments: divorces, deaths, weddings, and everything in between.
