Opening next Saturday 11/8 4-7.PM. Brown Study, new works by Andrew Sokol. Brown Study: Noun, circa 1555 : a state of serious absorption or abstraction

Brown Study: Idiom, A mood in which you are very involved in your own thoughts and not paying attention to anything else.

In a continuation of voluptuous themes, Andrew Sokol’s Brown Study will present new works in rhinestones and aluminum cans. These works are both a feast for the eyes and a place to reflect on one’s wandering thoughts.

Andrew is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Andrew studied at Central Saint Martins, London, and earned their B.F.A. in Sculpture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and earned their M.F.A. in Fibers and Material Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. by @sokolandrew
