My first single Soil & Salt feat. @divasonic drops Lunar New Year 2.17! This shed & rebirth has been a long coming.. by @sol.fxam.intl

On the day of the LA Eaton fires, a quiet morning in Altadena quickly turned into chaos as flames tore through homes, music studios, and gathering spaces that had long been the heartbeat of the community. Smoke billowed over the foothills, and families, artists, and neighbors watched helplessly as years of memories and hard work were reduced to ash. Among those affected were @1rhythmsofthevillage, a legendary music center of cultural exchange, beloved musicians @paulzlivingstone who lost his home & @evan_hatfield.mp3 whose music studio went up in flames—a place where countless songs were born and friendships forged.

Yet, even in the face of devastation, the spirit of Altadena remains unshaken. The community has come together in a powerful way, determined to rebuild what was lost. This Sunday, April 6th, Church of Sound at Que Sera will be more than just a dance party—it will be a lifeline. Every ticket sold, every donation given will go directly toward rebuilding efforts, including restoring cherished music spaces that gave so much to the local creative scene.

Come move, connect, and heal through music while supporting those who need it most. Let’s turn loss into renewal—together.

Performances by @evan_hatfield.mp3, @divasonic, @catsnaxx , @xochiimusic, @loslavaz & surprise guests!

Offering a SOLful set w/ new musical SNAXX today 4/6 at the Church of Sound @queseralb

At Church of Sound, we gather as lovers of rhythm and vibration to let loose, express freely, and celebrate the transformative power of sound. This is more than a dance—it’s a journey of self-expression and community. Whether you’re a seasoned mover or new to ecstatic dance, all are welcome to share the magic of the moment.

ALL TICKET PROCEEDS & DONATIONS GO TO OUR COMMUNITY AFFECTED BY THE LA EATON FIRES!

Ecstatic dance is a free-form dance practice that encourages people to move to the music in a way that feels natural and spontaneous.

At Church of Sound, we focus on presence and connection: to ourselves and to the sonic frequencies all around. We borrow the name “church” and re-frame it as a gathering of lovers of sound and vibration.

You are welcomed and encouraged to move freely and without self-consciousness or distraction.

Ecstatic dance can be a form of movement meditation that helps people to cope with stress and attain serenity. Dancers often feel connected to others and to their own emotions which creates a collective ‘ecstatic’ feeling.

We hope to see you there! by @sol.fxam.intl

@xochiimusic is a Long Beach based DJ bringing play and pleasure to the dance floor. Xochii is known for dropping infectious beats and rhythms, multigenerational dance classics, and Latin heat! Xochii is inspired by her Mexican and Salvadoran afro-indigenous roots, her parents’ stories of dancing all over Los Angeles in the 80’s and 90’s, the Southern California rave scene, and all the unapologetically queer ancestors before her transmuting pain into joy. Xochii’s always got you with a sweaty dance paradise from sun up to sun down... Or sun down to sun up. Experience. Xochii’s eclectic Sound this Sunday, April 6th @queseralb. by @sol.fxam.intl
