POSTS STORIES REELS

From childhood to the wisdom years, no one was meant to walk through life’s seasons alone. 🌿

Solace Wellness Collective was created to be a soft place to land, whatever stage of life you’re in:

🧸 The little ones exploring, playing, and growing alongside their grown-ups
🌱 The youth and teens finding their way and learning to understand themselves
🤰 The expecting mother gathering knowledge and courage
🍼 The new mother healing while caring for someone new
💛 The mom in the thick of it, needing a moment for herself
🌸 The woman rediscovering who she is beyond her roles
🔥 The woman stepping into a new era of change and wisdom

Through therapies, movement, workshops, and community, we’re here to support you, your family, and the younger version of you in every season.

Whatever season you’re in, there’s a place for you here. 🤍 by @solace.wellness.co

Still feel like I should be calling my mom to make my dr's appointments, but somehow I'm running a whole household. 😅

Somewhere along the way, many of us started believing that a good mom is one who never needs anything for herself. 🤍

So we pour and pour..and pour and pour some more! Into the kids, the house, the schedules, everyone’s feelings. And we save ourselves for “later,” a later that rarely comes.

Consider this your permission slip:

✨ You’re allowed to have things that are just yours.
✨ You’re allowed to enjoy them without guilt.
✨ You’re allowed to leave the house for something that isn’t an errand.

A filled cup is what lets you keep showing up with patience, presence, and joy. Your kids don’t need a mother who has given everything away, but I tell ya, as a seasoned mom, they do need one who still feels like herself.

Maybe it’s a yoga class. A walk alone. A coffee that stays hot. A circle of women who get it. Whatever fills you up, it matters, and so do you.

Tell us, what’s one thing that fills your cup? by @solace.wellness.co

A little learning, a little connection, and a whole lot of good going back into the community. 💛

Meet the Team: Shannon Berrow, Registered Massage Therapist & Founder of Solace Wellness Collective

Shannon believes massage therapy is about more than physical relief — it’s about caring for the whole person. She brings both heart and science to her work, helping clients feel calmer, more grounded, and cared for.

Her journey into massage therapy began after a trip to Thailand in her mid-20s inspired her to leave her career behind, travel the world, and explore what truly lit her up. That path led her to yoga, Reiki, and holistic bodywork, eventually becoming the RMT she is today!

Shannon has a special passion for supporting pregnancy and postpartum recovery, helping clients reconnect with their bodies and feel supported through life’s many transitions. That same passion inspired her to create Solace — a space where families can find connection, healing, and community through every season of life.

Her hope is that every person leaves her care feeling calmer, more grounded, cared for, and happier — with a little more relief and ease in their body, too. 🤍

Outside of work, Shannon is a dedicated mom to two girls, a yoga lover, and a Reiki Master.

We’re so grateful for the heart, vision, and care Shannon brings to our Solace community!

Meet the Team: Linda Bakker, Registered Clinical Counsellor

Linda believes that healing isn’t about making constant progress or having everything figured out. It’s about learning to navigate life’s challenges with compassion, recognizing our strengths, building supportive connections, and finding tools that help us create a sense of peace along the way.

One message she wishes every client could hear is simple, yet powerful: “You deserve to take up space.”

Linda’s path to becoming a Clinical Counsellor was shaped by her own experience with counselling after losing her big sister to cancer. During that difficult time, she experienced what it felt like to be truly heard and understood. That experience inspired her to create the same kind of space for others, where they can feel supported, understood, and empowered as they navigate their own experiences.

When asked what she hopes people take away from their time together, Linda hopes they leave feeling heard, understood, and more empowered in themselves. She believes that healing doesn’t have to look like constant forward movement. Sometimes, it’s about learning to sit with what’s difficult, reconnecting with our strengths, and discovering that we don’t have to navigate everything alone.

Outside of her work, Linda is a dog mom, an avid reader, a baker, and a female business owner who was born and raised right here in BC.

We feel so lucky to have Linda as part of the Solace community and are grateful for the warmth, understanding, and care she brings to the people she works with. by @solace.wellness.co
