We've been featured in the @latimes!

A huge thank you to staff writer Eloise R. for highlighting the @SoLaLiveAccelerator program and Beehive Block Party. Our partnership with @LiveNation is a powerful example of what happens when corporate and nonprofit organizations come together with a shared purpose.

Together, we're creating a direct pipeline for South LA youth to gain the skills, experience, and opportunities needed to launch careers in the live entertainment industry.

Beehive Block Party 2026! 🔥

Congratulations to our 5th SoLa Live Accelerator cohort who, after more than six months of learning directly from industry professionals, successfully produced their very own concert: Beehive Block Party.

Each Beehive Block Party is the culmination of months of collaboration and the collective creativity of each cohort. Everything from the ticketing, marketing, operations, and production of this event came from the hard work from 19 young adults preparing for careers in live entertainment. Fueled by their passion for live entertainment, we couldn't be more proud of their accomplishment in bringing the community together for an unforgettable celebration of music and culture.

The concert featured performances from Navy Blue (@Sageelsesser), @WSTCMPLX, @VeritusMiller, and DJ Sets by @ClubDic3 and a marketplace showcasing local small businesses.

Thank you @LiveNation for investing in the next generation of live entertainment leaders!

We’ve been busy putting the finishing touches on everything, but before the doors open, hear from a few of the students who have spent the last 6 months learning and growing together 🫂🎶

Next weekend it’s time to see everything we’ve been building for the past 6 months finally come to life. Come out, bring your people, show your support, and experience the Beehive Block Party!! We promise you won’t want to miss it Los Angeles! 🐝🌇

Community is at the heart of everything we do, including how we care for the place we call home 🌎

The Beehive Block Party team recognizes the environmental impacts that live events can have on a community. It was important to us that throughout the process of planning we thought of actions we could take to reduce our waste and energy use ♻️🐝

Thank you to the sustainability team @livenation for meeting with us to talk about the research and practices they utilize when planning.

From ditching plastic bottles for Liquid Death cans, to a stage powered by biodiesel, to plant-based vendors serving up locally grown goodness 😋, we’re keeping South LA a little greener this Saturday. Swipe to learn more about the ways we will be practicing sustainability and how you can pitch in too! ➡️ taken in The Beehive by @solaliveaccelerator
