We all have that one person that we want to feel seen by. Whether it be on birthdays, holidays, special events…but they never walk through that door. That feeling of abandonment becomes so effortless and intense, that eventually that feeling becomes a part of you, never seeming like it would ever go away. With that time, comes with resentment, anger, and shame. Then it leaves you with that burning question, “Why wasn’t I ever good enough?”
