You know what absolutely pisses me off? Content that tells women they need to me more "soft" and shit to appeal to men. That we need to be more feminine and less masculine. That content actually grinds my tits at this point. Because honestly, how do we do all that when our environment constantly demands more masculinity from us because it fails to protect us over and over again.
I reckon women actually need to become more dangerous and intimidating. Men need to fear US now. Because this "soft" bullshit, is just that, bullshit.

A few months ago, I went through a friendship breakup that broke my heart.
This was someone I considered to be more than just a friend.
The way I was spoken down to by this person on my character, capability and my art was honestly something I could not unhear. I felt disrespected on a high level and by someone I loved and respected so much.
That interaction made me decide to turn my back on the friendship. And just sit with and process what was said to me. Privately. Even though I had been disrespected, to some level, publicly by this person.
I was guided to channel those emotions into my art. The very same art that made way for that disrespect.

FEDE. was born.

I started thinking about Jesus coming from the hood and just saying "Fede" to people constantly disrespecting him.
In my inner dialogue with Christ I asked, "Am I not just being passive aggressive Lord? Should I do something, should I SAY SOMETHING? Should I call this out?"

Jesus said "Turn the other cheek"

It's okay to turn your back, but I still want you to turn the other cheek.

Someone told me our interaction changed their life recently. And honestly, I kind of disregarded it, until my morning conversation with God this morning. God reminded me of that conversation for some reason.
I was talking to God about why I encounter people who mishandle my energy or simply just don’t know what to do with it. Then God said, when people meet you, their lives change Tumi.
It’s difficult for me to fully comprehend this because I am always just being myself. And I experience people who try to make me feel small and or invisible so much.

I am so grateful that God has preserved my heart posture through all of it and reminds me, often, how loved I am and how valuable my presence is 🤍 by @solarthelight

Presenting is something I have always loved because connecting with people is a passion for me. So “Here Am I” not giving up on that passion.
