Lay’s Groove🪩🩷 *long post alert*

I never thought I would be so blessed to coordinate and throw my own first ever Live R&B Experience, but the Lord made a way!!🙏🏽

To my band, BGVs, and Performers, thank you for following my vision and buckling up for the ride. We’re locked in now🤞🏽

To my MD, Shamar, thank you for letting me bother you about this for a month. Your ideas, support, and contributions made it all worth it.❤️

To my host, Peaches, thank you for speaking life to me, and my flowers. I appreciate everything you’ve already done. You’ve inspired me so much😘

To my mentor, Alton, thanks for encouraging me to go after it, and just do it! I wouldn’t have done it without you having my back🫶🏽

To my friends, THANK YOU. The prayers, the connections, the support, the helping hands… EVERYTHING🩷 y’all asked me what I wanted to do, and you just made it happen.

I wish I could individually thank, and shout out everyone who helped, even down to those who attended, but just know, if you had anything to do with it, even if it’s just an idea, I thank you, and I love you. 🤍

Thank you to everyone who spoke life, showed up, and showed out🥰 This was the first, but by popular demand, she may not be the last. #laysgroove taken in Tallahassee, Florida by @solaziaaaa

There’s something magical about singing a song that instantly brings everyone to their feet. 💃🏽✨ Performing “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” with the Sol Ties was such a joy—every clap, every dance move, and every sing-along moment reminded me why I love music so much. Thank you for sharing the energy with us. ❤️🎤

What’s your favorite Whitney Houston song? 🎶👇
