SHOUT TO THE VETS

To be given this patch means more to me than any monetary tip I could every receive or have received.

To be honored by someone who puts everything on the line daily means the world to me. Chris flys V-22 Ospery helicopter into some of the most terrifying environments in the world risking everything so we can sleep at night. This past weekend I had the honor to host Chris and Oliva at my hotel. I didn’t know them when the walked in on Friday but did they feel like family when the left on Monday. The video doesn’t do it justice but I tried. But know that he shared something that’s usually only shared with his brothers in arms. But I had such an impact for him and Oliva he gave me one of his patches. There’s no better feeling than enriching others. We were put on this earth to give. But society has taught us to be greedy. Enrich others and you’ll find everything you want and need.

It wasn’t the upgrade room… it wasn’t the 200$ bottle of champagne….it was the words I wrote in the letter that’ll he remember. And I bet you I was the talk of the dinner table this week.

How’d I know Chris was either active duty or a veteran? I noticed when he pulled in his car had a military emblem on his license plate.

In a world we’re everyone is wanting instant gratification. Be the ONE who knows that doing good doesn’t pay off right away and it shouldn’t! But it will always come around.

Though the weekend of getting to know each other, I come to find out Chris owns 4 airbnbs… I wonder who he’ll use for his next one😜

I used to be scared of cold calling, that feeling of bothering someone in the middle of the day gave me anxiety. My hospitality training goes against all that. But as time goes on it’s getting easier and I’m even having fun with it. I’ve found a few things that might help others

1. Smile and Stand up! It’ll give more life to your voice and although they don’t see it they’ll hear it, it’s contagious.
2. Your not bothering them, if your bringing value.
3. Have fun! Who cares if you even end up talking about real estate, your building that relationship
4. PICK UP THE PHONE and DIAL! No one’s calling for you! Most successful business take years to build the best business decades! It’s not gonna happen over night but commit to the small things day after day and you’ll be proud of what you built.
5. Be confident! Have some numbers ready to go for them about there market.

I’M BACKKK!!

Wishing everyone a blessed Easter Sunday! I hope everyone used to today to give thanks and take a minute to know how blessed we all truly are.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned in the past few years is to have faith and I mean really have faith. Step back from all the distractions and have a conversation with the big man upstairs.
