Nike Ghost Racer x Size? “Copy and Paste” 🪡
The retro Ghost Racer reworked and tweaked for this exclusive collaboration with UK based retailer “Size?”. The pair titled “Copy and Paste” in the process of copying and pasting different elements on the Ghost Racer thus giving it a unique look. Nubuck covers majority of the shoe coming in a offwhite cream. Suede accents take over the yellow Nike swoosh and and green medallion in the back heel. Leather makes up the blue Nike swooshes, camo tongue, and the red and blue medallions on the heel. Translucent overlays on the side panels on top of a white mesh covered in black “zoom air” branding. Cheetah print on the shoes outsole giving a bold statement. A neon green “Recrafted” tag on the lateral side. Vans Mountain Edition x Fear of God 🌋
Vans worked with Jerry Lorenzo, founder/ owner of “Fear of God”, in 2017. This collab was a two part collection which became a cult classic. The models used in the collection were the Era 95 DX, Era 95 reissue, Sk8-Hi 38 reissue, Slip-on 47 DX, and this pair the Mountain Edition 35 DX. This pair being the one that was either loved or hated, of course I loved it. The pair comes in a bold red suede on the primary panels. Secondary panels coming in the iconic “Fear of God” name in white font with a black base. Slightly offwhite sole to complement the shoe. The stand out feature on this pair is the red velcro strap above the foot. The pair comes with two laces, black and white. I currently have a lace swap on this pair, a beige tan lace, which pays homage to his first collection which came with the same exact color laces. Nike SB Dunk Low Pro B “Parachute Beige” 📦
Very simple and historical. Nike Dunk have been quite popular for sometime, especially the Nike Dunk SB line. The Nike Dunk Pro B line ran for the SB line to fly. “Pro B” was introduced in 1999 and then later adapted to “SB” in 2002. This pair pays homage to the Nike Dunk Pro B “Putty”. It’s not an exact retro colorway, but slightly tweaked and modified for the modern day. Parachute beige makes up majority of the shoe coming in a lively suede. Dark khaki covers the midsole, with a translucent copper gum outsole. The classic fat puffy tongue, paired with fat wide flat laces in the same parachute beige. The shoe also comes with additional laces, coming in a lighter beige color. Towards the back of the heel, you’ll see “Nike” , but in a white leather with black lettering for a nice pop of color. You will see another hit of white on the tongues label stating “Nike SB”, but you will notice the “SB” being hard to see with the matching color of the label. The purpose of that is to mimic the original “Pro B” model because “SB” was yet to be born. Nothing really hype about this shoe, but I love it and it’s history.🙏🏽 @nikesb by @sole_visions_

New Balance 2002R x Joe Freshgoods “Conversations Amongst Us” 📒
Overlooked and underappreciated. Joe Freshgoods has partnered with New Balance again. This pair like all of Joe’s projects comes with a story and meaning. “Conversations Amongst Us” comes from a campaign to celebrate the black community. From connections formed from daily verbal and non-verbal interactions. “Black Soles”, New Balance’s Black employee resource group, came together with Joe to make this a reality. The pair is subtle yet elegant, comprised mainly of a Buttercream leather with raw leather edges. Accents of offwhite ripstop, gold/grey suede, blue “NB” branding. Also aged yellow synthetic overlays and midsole. The gum bottom was placed to make this pair come to life. On the back heel you will see a beautiful debossed “Conversation Amongst Us” and “NB” on the gold suede. Laced up on the shoe are a off-white lace with gold yellow tips, additional you are also given cream and blue laces. Nike Mac Attack 🎾 A iconic shoe for Nike for the legendary John McEnroe, Pro tennis player. This Model was first released back in 1984 for John McEnroe and people across the world. Now we fast forward to 2023 when this model made a return. This being a monumental moment because this was Nike’s first ever retro of a tennis shoe. The shoe comes in a light smoke grey leather and mesh. Also black accents of leather and mesh as well. A white midsole to bring the pair together, also Nike branded in the back of the heel. My favorite detailing being the box and the tongue label coming in a red and blue checkerboard. This was truly iconic in 1984 and still is today! @nikesportswear by @sole_visions_

PUMA Clyde x Hajime Sorayama “Silver Gold” 🤖 SO SHINY AND CHANGES COLORS!!! In 2023 Puma created this collaborative shoe in celebration of Puma’s 75th anniversary. Also celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Puma Clyde model. The collaboration is with Hajime Sorayama, the well known Japanese artist. Sorayama is known for his futuristic robotic aesthetic, which he brought to the table for the Puma Clyde. Even the box being fully custom featuring a chromed robotic puma. The shoes come in a metallic silver synthetic leather, with accents of grey suede, and gold synthetic leather. The shoe has a very special feature with both the inner and outer panels being able to change colors. Once the shoes hit the UV light of the sun, the silver panels will now turn to gold! The toe caps feature a glossy silver that mimics a mirror with its reflectiveness. The grey forum strip features “Sorayama” embossed on the suede. The shoe is laced up with gold shoelaces with silver metal tips, but also coming with an additional lace, which is white with metal tips as well. Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 270 React ENG “Cactus Trails” 🏜️
I feel like this is a very underrated pair as well. So this collaboration with Travis Scott pushed the boundaries with Nike. Instead of collaborating on maybe a Jordan or maybe a Dunk which was very popular in 2020. He decided to use the “Airmax 270 React ENG”model. Thus the shoe was either loved or hated. Personally, I love it as you can see I’ve worn the heck out of these! They are pretty beat, but still rocking! The shoes are outdoor inspired hence in the name “cactus trails”. The shoe comes in a variety of earth tones such as cream and dark hazel as well as pops of color mica green and starfish. Lots of different textures and materials, mesh, suede, textile materials, and even fleece. Plenty of Nike branding throughout featuring mini swooshes and lace locks. My favorite part being the Travis Scott branding on the heel tab coming in a “t” shape saying “cactus jack”.
