I invite you to feel the essence of TTF from the curated collections to our selection of 🎶 by @soleil_folk

Hey there, my name is Lisa and I invite you to my story of how TTF came to be.

The Thrift Folk was created from endless daydreams, my love for travel and Island style aesthetics which I have loved since my twenties.

Founded in 2019 with the purpose of sharing my finds and love of wandering around flea markets, vintage stores and thrift shops, that warm buzz of finding something different.

I love gathering secondhand pieces for my own home with a modern minimal pallet, neutral earthy tones and natural elements infused with Island style vintage. I find the feeling of loving an object with a past very charming.

I would often make up stories and imagine who and how that worn but well loved piece was used. An object with a history of of its own, some of which we will never know.

I truly feel this way of living allows us to reconnect step away from the norm and live in alignment with pieces that make our soul sing.

Each piece chosen are deeply rooted in our values, gathering pieces for their timeless qualities and unique style.

I wanted to create a way of making preloved and vintage more accessible, whilst breaking the misconception that you don’t have to compromise on quality and style when buying second hand pieces.

Nothing Meaningful is ever lost, only waiting to be remembered.

For a long time I have felt called to rename this space with something that aligns with my soul & why I started this in the first place. Many of you may not know that the first name I had was Island Soul Vintage, which resonates with me deeply. So after some time spent pondering, I have come up with Soleil (The French word for sun) Folk.

So say hello to S O L E I L 〰️ F O L K. The Thrift Folks, wild little sister, for pieces that evoke Island style living, where the everyday feels like a holiday.

TEA POTS & SEASONAL TEAS

Dropping on Sunday 27th October @ 8pm 🍵

One of my favourite ways to be in the moment is to sit down and get cosy with my favourite warm beverage. Creating little pockets of joy during the working day.

That’s why I have curated a micro collection of tea- coffee pots accompanied with seasonal herbal teas to invite and elevate those small moments. by @soleil_folk
